The New York Times reported Monday that Republican president-elect Donald Trump was considering former primary opponent Carly Fiorina for the nation’s top intelligence post.
“Mr. Trump will meet on Monday with Carly Fiorina, the former Hewlett-Packard chief executive, to discuss the job of director of national intelligence,” The Times reported, citing a senior transition official.
If selected, Fiorina would be the first female director. She would also be the first director with no prior government experience, although she was the chair of the informal CIA External Advisory Board under the Bush administration.
Fiorina’s selection would be unusual given the lingering bad blood between the two following the primary race. Trump told voters they should vote for Fiorina because she was unattractive, telling Rolling Stone, “Look at that face! Would anyone vote for that?”

If you had ever had a substantive, face-to-face discussion with Jim Clapper, you’d probably think otherwise. Reasonably articulate and pretty glib, but “there’s not a lot of there, there...” - and I’m referring to Clapper. I briefed him when I was a major and he was a three star. Walked out of his office thinking he was probably the dumbest flag officer I’d ever met and that it was a complete waste of my time. That was 1994, I’ve spoken with him a number of times since and I haven’t changed my opinion.
Any doubts, listen to some of his open testimony on Capitol Hill.

I’ve watched his testimony and agree with your assessment.
Hard to believe he could get promoted to the level he has.
That said, just because Odumbo wanted stupid people in positions of importance does not mean Trump should follow suit.
The only thing Carly is suited for is destroying organizations.
There are quite a few agencies that could use that expertise, ATF, for instance.
On the plus side, she can open her mail with her chin.
I like how Trump is humble-izing all those who demeaned him during the primary process.. Face to face.. or in Carly’s case, Face to Red Eyes ..
She came out and blubbered about seeing Shaq Oneal’s show in his office.. she is far from a frontrunner imho. ;-)
