President-Elect Donald Trumps softer stance on so-called DREAMers demonstrates that Democratic pressure is having an impact on the billionaire businessman, according to one of Congress most vocal amnesty advocates.
My reaction is, its working. Its working. The fact that we are raising the issue of the DREAMers is working. The pressure is beginning to reverberate in his own comments. Lets keep it up, Illinois Democrat Rep. Luis Gutiérrez said Wednesday, during the unveiling of House Democrats latest call for a presidential pardon of DREAMers granted Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) or as critics have called it executive amnesty.

“The essay I want to share with you is one the most excellent and far-reaching pieces of truth I have ever read. The writer is Carl Herman. Carl Herman is a National Board Certified Teacher of US Government, Economics, and History; also credentialed in Mathematics...he demands a clear vision of the current Mainstream Media hoax that is currently being played upon Alternative Media.
He gives examples of the true hoax of Mainstream Media, which has been played on the American people for a very long time. That is how Alternative Media was born .we had to find our way from the darkness of lies to Light of truth. The Internet is both a positive and negative entity, but Alternative Media has become the positive force of the Internet...”

I think one of the reasons people get so concerned about the tweets is it is sort of a way around the press. He doesn’t have to rely upon, uh, rely upon — this is the modern era, modern technology. He’s at the point where we don’t need you guys anymore.

There are probably going to be some people who were brought here as infants and toddlers who merit a break.
The real issue is all the 18-20 year old gang members Obama has been allowing to flood the zone for the past few years.
This ferret-faced Leftist should have NO influence on a Republican governed.
Trump should not back away, even rhetorically.
He’s already given grist to the opposition.
playing nice until he is inaugurated :)
Dream on Louie.. DREAM ON!
Didn’t LG have a meeting with candidate Trump months ago about the Great Wall?
He came out with the knowledge that the wall idea would be tanked. How did that work out for him?
I find Donald J Trump’s reality show to be the most popular, entertainment show on the networks these days.
I have become convinced that Democrats, after having a meeting with Trump, rush to the microphones and say what they wanted to hear, not what they really heard from Trump. They are still trying to control the narrative. I remember, back in the 90’s, when Gingrich and Clinton came out after a meeting and Clinton told the press they had agreed on everything that Clinton wanted......and Gingrich’s face registered complete shock. Clinton had negotiated with Gingrich and then came out and told the press they both agreed completely with Clinton’s ideas. Now, the meeting hadn’t gone that way, but Clinton had the first response and the press reported exactly what Clinton had said. We would be well advised to remember that DEMOCRATS LIE! And didn’t Boehner once say that negotiating with Obama was like trying to nail jello to a wall?
Say goodbye to the rug that’s about to be pulled out from under you, Luiz!
Yes. And so far there seems to be no evidence of "softening" beyond the phrase "something that will make everyone happy and proud." Whatever that means.
I would expect Trump to make a big splash by first deporting the thousands of criminal illegals, very soon after inauguration. This would be Step 1. Later on, as Step 2, he would announce procedures to deal with non-criminal illegals. Iirc that is what he outlined during his campaign.
IOW we might not hear details about Step 2 until after Trump's first hundred days, following deportation of the criminals. This would be a smart move from a PR perspective, in addition to addressing the most urgent problem with illegals.
I hope so too. The DREAM act gives all illegals a foot in the door, so to compromise on this is to compromise on the whole immigration law enforcement issue. If things go as we hope, Trump's approach of starting with deportation of illegals with criminal records is just a way to target the low-hanging, uncontroversial fruit before deporting others.
The “pressure” this traitor guiterrez feels is probably a gas cramp from a bad taco.
That’s why he met DiCRAPio as a “courtesy”. Ivanka must have used his DVD as a beer coaster afterwards.
It’s as though these ‘folks’ do not understand English.
So whether it be lie, or misunderstanding, they simple don’t get it.
