Navy usually wins! And we're supposed to be the punks of the military. Think Navy SEAL's then think Rangers, Delta, Special Forces, and Marine Recon. Who is called in first for the most clandestine operations? Still, love all the warriors mentioned above. Hell, I was just an Aviation swabbie and I love Marines and love Spec Op guys.

What has the Naval Academy done to attract a generally higher quality of football player than West Point? Both schools require a merit based appointment, minimum grade standards, a minimum level of fitness, a high level of discipline. Quitting is not an acceptable concept at either. Could it be the coaching, or the prospect of mostly clean, dry and well fed sea duty vs. leading young men through the mud or dust?

I mostly have no ‘skin’ in the game ... we have Army, Navy & Air Force in the family. My dad is a WWII vet and was in the Army so if I favor anybody, that’s probably who I’ll cheer for. If Navy has so many on the injured list, Army might pull a “Trump” and win! Could this be MAGA ..... Make Army Great Again? :-)

This may be Army’s year with so many players on Navy banged up or out. Then again, that third string quarterback for Navy will have a whole week to be coached up and practice with the one’s. Haze gray and underway! Go Navy!
