Provided the RINO weak sisters (McCain, Graham, Collins, Flake, etc.) get on the train ... not a certainty, for sure.
I considered the sarc tag, but I am waiting for some Republican to dump that out there.

Let them... As Trump rings up wins that add jobs and stimulate economic growth and every democrat votes no again and again to all of it.. by 18, Trump gets an even bigger majority in both houses to work with.
Blind opposition is stupid.
If democrats had taken the tenth amendment seriously the past 50 years, then California would have kept its precious programs at the state level, and there would be nothing Trump could do about them. Oh, well. They didn’t read or understand the constitution, and so now Trump can throw away all their wonderful progressivism into the trash at the federal level.
When will these f’n Democrats ever stop with partisan politics and do what’s right for the country for a change.
Just like January 20 can’t come soon enough neither can 2018.
We need a 20-teens version of Reagan’s boll weevil strategy. Basically, pick off Dems from every state not California, Illinois, NY and Massachusetts. One third of the Dems voted against Pelosi, they don’t want to be associated with such tactics.
Unfortunately, much like buying off jumping Jim Jeffords years ago, there are republican senators that will sell their vote for cash and power - McCain and Graham come to mind. Hopefully Trump selects senator Manchin (D) for a position and another (D) in a state that would replace them with a republican so the margin goes to something like 53-46-1. It will take the bravado out of a John McCain grandstand to demand something for his vote - or worse yet, have his nay vote mean failure of an otherwise good bill.
Yet more evidence that closer ever closer comes the Social War. The only question remaining is when will the out and out shooting of people and breaking things begin.

CA unfortunately is filled with leftist posers and their mentally ill supporters.
It’s very unfortunate these people were able to take over and seize the crown jewel of this great country. And it’s become inordinately clear why they wanted a state filled with illegal aliens who have zero allegiance to America.

It's time for a separation. I don't quite know how to do it peacefully. Maybe we could just ship all the leftists to Guantanamo and, once they're there, turn it back to Cuba. The leftists could all live in a socialist utopia, and the rest of us could live free.
