The former deputy campaign manager for Bernie Sanders, Richard Pelletier, has sent a letter to Project Veritas threatening a lawsuit over his recording of a phone call, which Pelletier claims violated Nevada wiretapping laws. The phone call was related to the following undercover video published by Project Veritas back in February, potentially revealing that the Bernie campaign violated campaign finance laws by funding members of the Australian Labor Party to "deface and/or destroy campaign materials and signs of Sanders’ opponents — on both sides of the political aisle."

In response to the lawsuit threat, Project Veritas Assistant Communications Director, Luara Loomer, told Sputnik News simply that they too would be "pursuing justice" after "The Bernie Sanders campaign committed an egregious violation of campaign finance law."

Socialists, disaffected commies and anarchists ... many of whom may believe they are “moderate” because they have no sense that there is any of the old extreme left that is extreme to them anymore.

Telling the truth about Democrats is bad. Especially if it’s in their own words. /s

You’d think that old coot would sit back and enjoy his payoff from Hillary’s campaign. He doesn’t have that many years to enjoy the $670,000 beach house that he paid for with cash.

So the Bernie Camp is suing for illegal interception of wire communication because Project Veritas revealed they engaged in egregious violations Of campaign finance law.

I think they would be wise to drop their threat completely since the latter can be proven beyond the shadow of a doubt. I hope Trump's AG, and the Justice Department, follows through and brings about prosecutions on everyone involved.

And then they scream “Thee is no evidence...” except it is obtained. Then they sue for however the method of obtaining it occurred. It is never about Democrat corruption or wrongdoing.

It’s called hiding behind other laws that may have been violated to expose their illegalities.

Does this mean we can sue the CNN, NYT, and MSNBC based on what was revealed in Wikileaks as contributing and being part of the Clinton Presidential campaign?

It should all be fair turnabout.

“threatening a lawsuit over his recording of a phone call, which Pelletier claims violated Nevada wiretapping laws”

Wiretapping laws are criminal laws. If they are violated, it’s up to the public attorneys to prosecute.

So what is he going to sue them for? Releasing their own statements to the public? If there was any damage to their reputations, they did it to themselves with their own words.

What is the status of the Class Action Suit lodged from Bernie against Lil Debbie, the DNC, and Donna Brazile regarding the fix in the Primaries that handed victory to HillDog?

I recall that the attorney serving papers in the case was mysteriously found dead in his own bathroom, like a scene out of the movie "Michael Clayton".
