Democrats Standing on an Ever-Shrinking Map
Lifezette ^ | December 6, 2016 | Brendan Kirby

Hillary won half the counties of Obama in 2008 and just a third of localities won by Bill in 1996

President-Elect Donald Trump’s upset victory in last month’s presidential election was not just a loss for Democrat Hillary Clinton — it also was a continuation of her party’s dramatically shrinking geographic footprint.

Even as he lost the popular vote by 2.5 million votes, Trump carried 2,625 counties, compared with just 487 for Clinton.

Had it not been for Perot..Bill clinton’s 39% would have been a dismal loss.

Cankles won California by 4.3 million votes because:

1. Trump never really bothered campaigning there,

2. This state sucks!!!!

Thank God for the Electoral College because we do not need another hell-hole like Sacramento. DC is plenty bad enough.

8 years of deportations of the non-citizens living here illegally will make that map even smaller.

Democrats need to flock to California and New York City to protest any decentralization of political power.

More proof that Illary won some urban echo chamber areas, while Trump won America.

I think we see the effects of immigration and left wing media in NY and Cal. People there are inundated with democrat propaganda and intimidation.

thank God for the founders!

the opening is wide and getting wider now for young, independent conservatives to jump into politics if they are of a mind to—on the very weakened dem side in rural areas, especially.

it is now possible for an independent to attack the two major parties at the local level as did Trump and Perot at the national.

2016 map (left) exhibits the Republican Party expansion.
2014 map is Congressional results when the Democrats got slaughtered.

2016 map was better than we could have ever imagined.

Article probably didn’t account for Pueblo, County, CO. So add another to the Trump county win count. Trump won the Dem county by 376 votes for the first time a Repub candidate in 44 years since Nixon in 72.

My own take... and not meant personally to anyone, but white Americans and so-called Christians have stupidly and broadly contracepted themselves out of existence, even globally. It has come at a high price in the West and brought a “Duh” moment.

There are consequences for such utter stupidity that has screamed our preferences for other than life itself, our own existence, perpetuity, and eschewing obedience to God.

Hillary-Its-Your-Turn was advised to run for Obama's third term....and she stupidly took the cockamamie advice.

Too bad Obama has a habit of raining on Hillary's parade.

Hillary's debates came off looking good and she looked good after the convention. But her campaign fell off a cliff, after Obama gave her a helping hand.

Obama's obsession for burnishing his (gag) "legacy" is all he ever thinks about b/c it means big bucks for his foundations.

So his sap-happy "Build on My Progress," and "I'm The Greatest" messaging forced Hillary to follow his lead and run for a third Obama term. She no longer ran on change, she ran on Obama's continued progressiveness in a country crying for change.

She lost the election in the final two weeks because of avoidable things like Obama embracing her that sent the electorate a frightening message.

The Royal Idiot's ringing endorsement of Hillary meant many people had moved over to the Trump side.

CAUTION: prolonged viewing causes violent retching.

"I flacked her on AF One and she lost four points.
This frickin' faked pose oughta be good for a point."

To scare the Dems, Omit all of Bill’s red areas.
Show only Bill’s blue counties.
Then show Obama’s blue counties, which are 2/3 of Bill’s.
Then show Hillary’s blue counties, which are 1/2 of Obama’s.
(Throw in the Gore/Kerry counties if it doesnt make the map too busy, too cluttered.)
The counties that went from blue to red probably stand out more than the counties that stayed blue throughout.

But then notice how Counties in Chicago Exurbia went from red to Blue during that time.

Filtering out the Red from Bill’s map shows where the battleground counties are... and what is left to conquer.

Or picture it another way:
A grid of 12 squares.
Bill won all 12 squares.
Obama won 8 of those 12 squares.
Hillary won only 4 of the 12 squares.

Nice deconstruction....I have seen 2016 illustrated in several forms.

I happen to like the maps.

Cankles won California by 4.3 million votes because:

3. Many tens of thousands of illegal aliens with fake documents voting multiple times.

...Counties in Chicago Exurbia went from red to Blue during that time.

sad. I live in a suburban county that was, at one time, the most republican big county in the country.
we went for Hillary 53.96 to 39.28 %
