This loser is still around. Not one mention in the article about Obama's massive overreach of Presidential powers.

protect Article I of the Constitution, which assigns all federal lawmaking power to Congress.
Earth to McMuffin: Congress began surrendering this power to the Executive Branch SEVENTY EFFING YEARS AGO!
It's how Obama was able to rule with a phone and a pen.

Wow, could the NYTs get any worse.

My first thought, as well. They let 0bama run roughshod over the Constitution with nary an eyebrow raised.

Wasn’t this guy promoted by Romney in an attempt to deny Utah to Trump in the election?
And what he’s saying is hilarious in light of the way Obama, with the Left’s approval, has corrupted the Presidency and accumulated executive power.

I believe the worst is yet to come for the NY Slimes.

... “Mr. Trump interrupted her to declare his commitment to the Constitution even to parts of it that do not exist, such as Article XII. Shock swept through the room as Mr. Trump confirmed one of our chief concerns about him: He lacked a basic knowledge of the Constitution.”
He does need a Constitutional primer.

A congresswoman asked him about his plans to protect Article I of the Constitution... I'll bet she never ask Mr. Obama about his plans to protect Article 1 of the Constitution.

The real threat is all those muslim refugees that the Muffin Man wanted to bring into this country. Then we’d get Sharia law!

Exactly. Now they magically care about the Constitution?
I think Trump will respect the Constitution far more than Obama ever did. Trump sees the Constitution as a bedrock and will appoint Originalist judges. In contrast, Obama and the Progressives see the Constitution as a ‘living’ document. Which is code for: “it says whatever I say it does”.

The Times is a necessary EVIL. We can use their drivel as a comparison against that which we believe is the truth.
It is those on the LEFT that read or hear NOTHING they don’t like who are ignorant. The intelligent person is one who is aware of BOTH sides, and thus makes a rational decision
having weighed the data.
A weak analogy.....a 6’5” man, alone in a room, is BOTH the talles and shortes person there. WHen his kid walks in, the man is obviously the tallest..the comparison is made.

Mr. Trump interrupted her to declare his commitment to the Constitution even to parts of it that do not exist, such as Article XII. Shock swept through the room as Mr. Trump confirmed one of our chief concerns about him: He lacked a basic knowledge of the Constitution. On the other hand, maybe he simply misspoke, and was actually referring to Amendment XII.

Surprisingly, the answer is “yes.” Hold on, the Gray Lady’s veil is down and she is going to be even uglier than when she hid behind it.

Shock swept through the room as Mr. Trump confirmed one of our chief concerns about him: He lacked a basic knowledge of the Constitution.Which was the whole point of the exercise.

So Trump is a threat to the Constitution but someone who makes both Nixon and Agnew look like choir boys when it comes to corruption, influence peddling, and identifying and intimidating opponents and threats is not?

FUNYT...now you’re worried about the Constitution?? Piss off...

... He lacked a basic knowledge of the Constitution.
These journalists don't have it memorized, nor do they care, except when nitpicking on someone else.
Article XII does exist, the Author claims it doesn't.
