My favorite reason given in the story for not recounting was that one of the ballot boxes had a hole in it, so it’s “possible” it could have been tampered with.

Sounds like they WILL count. The original tally for those areas stands, since they aren’t allowed to be recounted.
IOW, we know there’s fraud but because the fraud can’t be undone it will stand.
But it’s still not enough for Hillary to win. It just means we all know that she didn’t really get as many votes as claimed, and that even with the cheating she still lost.
Most voting equipment is at least a decade old. How often do they get used after all. In a decade, they probably have been used a total of 20 times.
More like voter fraud caught and now they have no wAy to cover it up anymore. Not sure how the law allows the ballots to be counted in the original count but not recounted or disqualified instead of the original count stands.
Suppose they stuffed the ballot box with 500 extra Hillary votes compared to the poll book? Would that stand?
I’ll bet the number of machines that counted FEWER votes for Hillary than actual # of paper ballots is pretty close to ZERO.
Well, we are told that the numbers don’t match, but it is not clear to me whether the reported number was greater than the recorded number or not.
It sounds like it means that the canvassing shows that they have to stick with original numbers because the ballots have been found to be tampered with.
Nor illegals voting in Texas, Arizona, etc.
It means that they have had four years since the last election to make sure that their elections department could put together an accurate, efficient and ethical voting system. They couldn't do it. It means that now they have another four years to put together an accurate, efficient and ethical voting system, and they won't be able to do it by then either.
It means that if you put lazy, stupid, incompetent jackasses in charge of your polling stations the results you get back mirror what you put in.
They should have left it all alone...HAHAHAHAHA.
I read earlier that there is a strange story coming out of the city and county of Milwaukee...it seems they are finding votes for Clinton were vastly overcounted ... from 40% to 80% in certain precincts. Not sure of this was just clickbait or not, but it would not surprise would it?
Another way to look at this is that the elections personnel at the polling places may have done business as usual, and reported phony numbers. Never once did they consider that a recount might be requested. So they got caught. Bunch of clowns.

It’s not that they don’t count, it’s that the ORIGINAL count stands. She gains nothing.
