K-12: Occupied Territory
American Thinker ^ | December 5, 2016 | Bruce Deitrick Price

The U.S. government published the dark truth about K-12 schools in the famous "A Nation at Risk" report of 1983. Here is that truth: if a foreign country created the schools we have now, we would conclude that they were "an act of war" against our children.

A Nation at Risk told us that the simplest way to understand the mediocrity and malaise so common in K-12. We shouldn't assume there is anything natural about this decline or anything mysterious. It's a man-made attack by a vicious enemy who infiltrated our schools and made them dysfunctional.

But what country would that be? Spain? Sri Lanka? Samoa? Of course not. We all know there's only one country with a tradition of aggressive meddling in the internal affairs of other countries.

Let's take a look at Russian history after World War I. When Lenin and Stalin finally conquered Russia circa 1919, they immediately turned their energies to conquering the rest of the world – mainly the USA.

The Communist International (aka The Comintern or the Third International, 1919-1943) advocated world communism. That means that everyone obeys the Kremlin.

These were feverish and ambitious times. The Communists organized innumerable congresses, front groups, and ruthless plots around the world.

In the summer of 1920, Lenin sent out his Twenty-One Conditions to all socialist parties. He ordered Communists "not to trust the legality of the bourgeois states." Savor that. Simply by saying so, Lenin obliterates whatever silly ideas these countries have of being legal. No, they are illegal, and thus reasonable targets of conquest by Communists.

Find me anyone in the Republican Party holding office, who cares?

It has never been an agenda item, or even a campaign priority. This would include TRUMP.

The USA is under siege and parents still drop their kids off every single day to the state school of propaganda. What “choice” do they have, now that mom has a career and we conservatives have ceded the Public Education system to the Left, totally, with academia calling the shots for now decades.

ANOTHER REASON TO HOMESCHOOL

This ping list is for the other articles of interest to homeschoolers about education and public school. This can occasionally be a fairly high volume list. Articles pinged to the Another Reason to Homeschool List will be given the keyword of ARTH. (If I remember. If I forget, please feel free to add it yourself)

The main Homeschool Ping List handles the homeschool-specific articles. I hold both the Homeschool Ping List and the Another Reason to Homeschool Ping list. Please freepmail me to let me know if you would like to be added to or removed from either list, or both.

Even if we could change this in one minute; it would still take decades to reverse the effects and for some the damage is permanent. Millions of kids are indoctrinated and brain washed for life.

Communists must "use whatever means, legal or illegal, peaceful or violent, might be appropriate to their situations at any given time."

The same ethos prevalent among Mohammedans for the advancement of their totalitarian ideology.

You can’t fix the government school system of socialist “education”, just like you couldn’t fix the socialist agriculture of Soviet collective farms. Socialist agriculture produces famine, and social education produces vicious ignorance. The model is the mistake. You are wrong to say there is no choice. Just about anyone who wants to can figure out a way to get their children out of government schools. I know working single moms who have figured it out. Unfortunately, too many “conservatives” love or tolerate sending their children to their “local” government schools. Unless it is by court order, parents with their children in government schools are welfare queens sacrificing their children. I’m tired of hearing BS excuses from families and pastors who do nothing but rationalize their government school habit. The author writes pieces that are very good on identifying problems within the schools, but he thinks socialist education can be reformed by tinkering with details. It’s as if someone claimed someone could “reform” Soviet collective farms by giving them shiny, new combines, painting the tractors, and revising the work schedules. Again, the model is the mistake. Our collective cowardice and sloth in dealing with this issue is destroying our children, families, communities, churches, culture, and nation.

Trump put a pro Communist Core & Islamic curriculum (Bridging) Education Secretary that will keep the chains on American school children. We cannot afford to lose another generation! CHOICE is another layer of mess-enticing homeschoolers and private schools.
Trump please read Phyllis Schlafly’s commentary on Communist Core:
“The Obama Core advocates are even planning to impose their standards on private schools. As the school choice movement grows, the attempt will be made to force any private or charter school that accepts public funds to adopt Common Core standards and have their students take the national tests.”

Parents, if you do want your children to be free thinking Americans, HOMESCHOOL THEM.

Coming after homeschoolers to regulate them is going to be next. I’m betting they’ll dangle money in from of homeschoolers, then eventually they’ll attach more and more strings. I homeschool and I won’t touch a penny of government money to do it.

No, just RE-EDUCATE them at home.

There are people who home school, whom I wouldn't want anywhere near my progeny, who went to PRIVATE schools anyway. And I still "taught" at home !

The major problem is that parents are no longer doing what they, as parents should do.
