Green Party switches strategy in Pennsylvania recount bid

HARRISBURG, Pa. (AP) — A Green Party-backed campaign changed its strategy to force a statewide recount of Pennsylvania's Nov. 8 presidential election, won by Republican Donald Trump, and said late Saturday night that it will seek help in the federal courts, rather than the state courts.

The announcement that it would seek an emergency federal court order on Monday for a recount came hours after it dropped a case in the state courts.

"Make no mistake — the Stein campaign will continue to fight for a statewide recount in Pennsylvania," recount campaign lawyer Jonathan Abady said in a statement issued around 11:30 p.m. "We are committed to this fight to protect the civil and voting rights of all Americans."

I know. That’s what lowers my opinion of him as POTUS. He was great during and totally sucked afterwards. We should have closed our borders.

Once again the Democrats are attempting to steal the election the lost.

I have no doubt they are manufacturing votes right now. That’s how they were able to find 20 thousand votes for Hillary. There is simply no way the State of Pennsylvania missed that many votes on election night. Anyone that tells you that is extremely gullible or deliberately lying.

These Demons will keep coming at President-Elect Trump until he is sworn into office.

I have no doubt Jill Stein will be shopping a federal judgethat will rule in her favor. Even though she has no evidence and carried less than 1% of the vote.

Make no mistake this is being done by Hillary, Soros and the rest of the Globalists.

President-Elect Trump needs to get on this immeaditly.

don’t be so confident she can’t find a federal judge who will see some kind of unconstitutionality in Pennsylvanians election laws. If the federal courts could find the states marriage laws unconstitutional, there’s nothing that is immune from their agenda-pushing meddling and disapproval

...and wasting all the money the Green Party has gotten from sucker volunteers and all this stuck-on-stupid attention will help them get more people to support and vote for them? Somehow I don’t think so...LOL

Look kid, your dearth of knowledge of factual American history is mordantly obvious. Step away from the computer, laptop, whatever you're on and go read some good, factual ( as in OLD ) books about the FFs and their actual writings!

Kellanne is good...up to a point and then she's not only waaaaaaaaay out of line with him, but off the straight and narrow. She's just NOT as intelligent as he is and she isn't pretty either, so whatever your hangup re her is, GET OVER IT!

And GOD save us all, should he somehow "get all of the spirits of the FFs inside him! Then you'd have a penurious spendthrift who expected his pals to pay for his expensive excess and though he was right there when the Constitution was written, didn't actually know what was in it, once he was president!*

And old, louche roue who chased women, belonged to a weird men's club who engaged in unspeakable sh*t, and wanted the turkey to be our symbolic bird.

Then there's the uber blue stocking, God Bless him, with an excellent marriage, whom NOBODY liked due to his argumentative self.

Or perhaps you want the overtly too shy for words FF/president, with the extroverted, glamorous, daredevil wife?

How about the FF who was easily taken in by feminine wiles, blackmailed, but was brilliant and also so honor-bound, that as a gentleman, he died because he followed the then gentlemanly courtesy and died because the other POS fellow didn't?

I can go on and on and on, but you just aren't worth it.

* Do your own damned scut work.....I'm NOT going to tell you who each of these fine men were.

The deadline for challenging the election in Pennsylvania was November 28. Federal courts should throw this out. Should. What they actually will do comes down to judge shopping, and Team Hillary is good at that.

That could be a problem. If Obama appointed them, the law will not matter to them.

PA isn't the hill they're going to make a stand on.

They know that the unanimous decision in Bush v. Gore means that they can huff and puff all they want, but in the end the legislature can appoint whatever slate of electors it wants, and with Republicans controlling both Houses of the PA legislature, they aren't going to be Hillary electors.

Liberal Federal judges can engage in sophistry, no doubt, but they don't do it to no purpose whatsoever.

Two of the liberal judges who ruled with the rest of the unanimous decision are still on the Court. That would make any decision 6-2, at best. They aren’t going to go there.
