In the wake of Donald Trump winning the presidency after a campaign that often targeted and scapegoated immigrants, Latinos and Muslims, the AFT has pledged to take concrete action to assist these groups, with a particular emphasis on assisting and defending undocumented students. AFT President Randi Weingarten said AFT will "do everything in our power to stop any kind of action against our immigrant families, our Muslim families, our Latino families and especially our undocumented students."

Specifically, she said that the AFT will:

ATF has same major constitutional problem as EPA and many other so-called federal regulatory agencies imo — no constitutional authority to exist.

The Constitution makes the elected members of Congress uniquely responsible for all federal laws and regulations. And most of those of those laws and regulations should be reasonably related to INTERstate Commerce (1.8.3) and the US Mail Service (1.8.7) where domestic policy issues are concerned.

In fact, regardless what FDR’s state sovereignty-ignoring activist justices wanted everybody to think about the scope of Congress’s Commerce Clause powers (1.8.3), a previous generation of state sovereignty-respecting justices had clarified that INTRAstate commerce is off-limits to Congress.

”State inspection laws, health laws, and laws for regulating the internal commerce of a State, and those which respect turnpike roads, ferries, &c. are not within the power granted to Congress [emphases added].” —Gibbons v. Ogden, 1824.

Patriots need to work with Trump to politically “force" members of Congress to take responsibility for federal laws and regulations, making sure that Congress can reasonably justify all such laws and regulations with its constitutional Article I, Section 8-limited powers.

Repealing the ill-conceiveded 17th Amendment would be an excellent place to start. The 16th Amendment can disappear too.

Unions are non profit organizations. Take away that status.

The case that went to the SCOTUS, teachers suing their labor union, unfortunately split 4 to 4 after the death of Scalia. The unions were very happy about that.

GRANJENO, Texas — The ongoing flood of iIllegal immigrants from Central American countries continues to escalate despite the claims of the current administration that the border is secure. Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Photos courtesy of Breitbart

Breitbart Texas obtained a series of photographs from concerned citizens that show groups of illegal immigrants walking up dirt roads moments after having crossed the Rio Grande River border with Mexico. In total, the citizens encountered 21 illegal immigrants in a matter or minutes.

Breitbart Texas reported that members of the National Border Patrol Council had accused CBP of trying to keep the record-setting detention numbers out of the public eye until after the 2016 Election.

Illegal aliens continue to flood over the Tx/Mex border (while Obama lies and says the border is secure) bringing in drugs, crime, third world diseases and useless, illiterate drones to suck up welfare.

Donald may not be able to build 'the wall' for quite some time if ever- but he will try. He WILL enforce immigration laws, send guards, reinstall surveillance cameras and aircraft.

Another reason for school choice: parents can avoid schools that cater to illegals
