Megyn Kelly’s bestselling memoir is called “Settle for More,” but the star anchor may have to settle for less money if she decides to leave the Fox News Channel.
Kelly is said to have not made up her mind about staying with Fox News beyond the end of her contract in July, even with an offer of more than $20 million a year to stay, which would put her in the same income bracket as NBC’s “Today” co-anchor Matt Lauer.
So far no other networks have offered to top Fox’s figure, according to network news executives and agents familiar with the talks and who were not authorized to discuss the matter publicly. A spokesperson for Creative Artists Agency, which represents Kelly, declined to comment on her contract negotiations.

Actually her book is really a flop...an egomaniac that has failed, badly. Her value to Murdoch & Fox News Channel has diminished immensely. Megyn Kelly is now the weak link in the FNC prime time lineup. With Tucker Carlson, going gangbusters at 7:00PM, followed by O’Reilly & Hannity, Kelly is the empty suit on the train!!!
She will be gone when her contract concludes, IMHO!!! She has repeated the Katy Couric act, thinking she is a the Lord’s gift to humanity, just like Obama does!!! Wrong, they are both full blown “ZEROS”!!!
I never really liked Lauer, but I give him credit. He had the courage to ask an "unapproved question" of Her Thighness. Lauer asked her about her e-mail scandel - on camera.
It led to her having an off camera, violent meltdown.

I stopped watching her weeks ago. Used to record every program, then, I began to get her number when I saw her rabid feminist side coming out. It surprised me. My assessment is that she began to think far too much of herself after getting THE KELLY FILE and all the good publicity thrown up around her at FOX. She began to think that she could go rogue on her viewers and she did. Now, she has spoiled her nest as far as becoming a big anchor of note. Other networks, with her philosophy, have very beautiful and younger women anchors. While not old yet, Megan is approaching middle age and that is not a good time to try and make your mark as a woman in such a competitive career. Sorry if that view offends but sex sells and that is true of most networks when they choose their prime time anchors. Megan’s star, in my view has fizzled. She might be able to attrack an audience on the left but it will not be anything like the promise she enjoyed at FOX in the beginning. Maybe I am wrong but that is how I see it.
The assumption is that the $20 million deal is still on the table.
I thought I saw the figure of $12 million here and that could be the reason she is shopping around.

She was honestly expecting a bidding war with an offer of $20 million dollars. No way CNN is going to pay that much, although she would be better in the 10:00 PM timeslot than the biased Don Lemon who masquerades as a journalist when he is nothing more than a commentator.
