Growth is picking up. The economy expanded at a 3.2% annual rate from July through September.
Even the middle class is (finally) getting a raise in pay.

It’s hard to find an accurate view on the economy so many different things factor in and biases. I know for me personally the last 8 years have been pretty good in architecture/construction in Texas, but then I know manufacturing in Ohio and Michigan has been terrible which helped Trump win those states. I never felt like the economy was terrible but maybe I was lucky living in a bubble in Texas.
Obama threw $10 trillion at the problem and he thinks he was successful. Wow! How the hell does he think that debt will be paid off?

Dems and the media are setting the bar so low that Trump is almost guaranteed success. Obama can claim “recovery summer” and put out all the bogus numbers he wants but people have a feeling about the economy from the lives of themselves and their friends and family. If this is “pretty solid” Trump’s economy is almost guaranteed to be “spectacular”.
In other areas, Trump will clear the bar of success unless he
* Raises a Nazi flag over the white house
* Holds public lynchings of innocent blacks
* Tells border patrol to shoot immigrants (legal or not) on sight
* Surrounds hospitals with armed guards to keep the poor out
You’d almost thing the media is working for Trump rather than the democrats by setting expectations so low.

Funny that most of my Industrial Business neighbors are in the process of planning to expand and hire now the Trump is the President-Elect.

I know how you feel. It is not those with skills that have been really hurt but those that had the high paying manufacturing jobs that paid 40-60k to stand and watch a machine do most of the work. I’m in Industrial Maintenance and get 3 or 4 calls a week asking if I’m interest in a new job or can recommend someone
