Ok for the umpteenth time. Historically the Republican Party's fundamental principles were the tariff and protectionism in general. The Republican Party was THE TARIFF PARTY. Then the party was hijacked by globalists in the 1960's. Nixon. They lost their way but Reagan put them back on track. Reagan was protectionist. I can post his record on protectionism- yet again.

Then came NWO Bush who destroyed the Reagan legacy almost instantly, day one on the job. The globalist Free Traders are a teenie tiny minority that hijacked the Republican Party for their own gain and to link up with the globalist corporations in a nasty relationship bordering on fascism.. What we have now regarding business and government is crony capitalism. We have K Street corrupting the US government thru bribery to keep tariff levels at 0% while at the same time the USA is running 800 Billion dollar trade deficits. That is fascism and crony at its worst bub.
