Under your proposed system, Trump won 30 states. That translates to 60 EV's.

Assuming (an assumption, but a close one I think...) that Trump would carry Congressional districts that voted Republican, that gives him a further 240 EV's.

So, that's 300 even. About the same as what he actually won (306). It surprised me, a little. The country is more equally divided than I thought. I'd have figured, as you did, for a Republican landslide for the next 50 years. Not so much.

Back in August, if she had read the polls correctly...she could have put maximum effort into Michigan, North Carolina, Wisconsin, and Penn....won those four states. She should have taken Bill’s advice and aimed at the economy and jobs. She could have dumped all this fake BLM or fake agenda stuff.

She coulda spent more money there, but she couldn’t have profitably spent more time campaigning there. First because her ratings always drop when she gets more exposure, and second because she simply did not have the energy. She rested for days before each debate . . . while Trump was racking up the hours on TrumpForce One, making up to 5 campaign stops a day.

Before the election, all the democrats could talk about was how many electoral votes Hillary Clinton had. They had her winning by the number of electoral votes they had attributed to her. There was no way Trump could win according to them. Election is over and now the they have changed 180°. Now they don't want an electoral college any more suddenly.
