Tired Dem Donors Feel Like Their Money Got Burned

Democratic donors stung by Hillary Clinton’s upset loss in the presidential race feel like they just set their money on fire.

The sore feelings are a huge problem for the Democratic National Committee (DNC), which is trying to rebuild its image and reinvigorate a defeated party in time for challenging midterm elections in 2018.

It’s also a worry for top liberal activists as they prepare for war with President-elect Donald Trump and a GOP Congress that is hell-bent on rolling back President Obama’s accomplishments.

Many Democratic donors still feel burned by the party’s 2016 election losses and what they see as dysfunction in the DNC, which will elect a new leader in February.

Adding insult to the injury: The names of many donors were released in the WikiLeaks hack of Democratic emails, believed to have come at the hands of Russian intelligence. It was a mortifying development that has rattled some of the party’s big-money men and women.

There is _no_ evidence the DNC or any other Wilileaks leaks came from Russian intelligence.

None.

The media sources that keep repeating this “Big Lie” are creating fake news.

And let’s not forget that all time favorite of the Mulim Brotherhood Keith Ellison as DNC Chair ... Pelosi/Ellison 2020 - you heard it here first.

Exactly.

If they were sincerely trying to rebuild their image and reinvigorate the party they would have ditched Pelosi as their leader in the house of reprehensibles and relegated her to a dark corner of the basement of the Capitol building to sit on her filthy harpy perch and screech her stale, disgraced, message of failure to an ever-shrinking audience.

To a democrat, “accomplishment” and “crime against the republic” are synonymous.

Less money by mainstream liberals to the DNC, more money by outright commies to some nutjobs. Great plan!

The donors only need to understand the money was not burned, it was only transferred, and in the process helped some struggling advertising agency. They surely didn’t think that was their money.

“. . . that is hell-bent on rolling back President Obama’s accomplishments.”

Parse this one single phrase for a complete lesson on bias. The Hill.com is simply part of the enemy.

I can’t begin to describe the joy they would had had (me too) if they had just sent me $10 million of that. I would have given them a lot better return than the Beast.

You know, the press keeps couching this as an “upset” or “unexpected” loss. I don’t think for many that this was so surprising of a loss. A lot of folks felt that Trump would win. It’s just that the press blindly lied so blatantly throughout the campaign that the gullibles just wouldn’t see it.
