No one is “marginalized” if you don’t let yourself be marginalized.
I learned that as the only conservative on a faculty of 20.

U disagree. There are places and systems that marginalize conservatives. Obviously there were other conservatives who were not hired on your faculty.
You’re using the old victim statement. Funny, they hired me. They hired another conservative in my department later.
You’re only “marginalized” if you allow yourself to be.
