Sigh. Ok. No more Kellog. Geez.
Yep, done with them.
I went to their website and emailed customer service to tell them I will no longer buy their products because their values don’t align with mine since they use child labor to source some of their ingredients.
Couple years ago went Paleo more or less in an effort to help my wife lose weight. After about 6 months, I had lost 30+ pounds and noticed I wasn't having any more migraines.
My migraines were severe enough they required ER trips on a few occassions.
I never could figure out whether it was food, or sleeping patterns or whatever. I had them since I was an early teenager.
I also had what would be called now an 'irritable bowel'. This also disappeared after changing diets.
Now, almost 3 years later, the weight has stayed off and I think all the refined sugars were the cause of the migraines.
I notice that if I cheat with a particularly sweet item, I feel the effect the next day.
Because the migraines were so severe, I have ample enough reason to stay the course as a piece of cheesecake isn't worth 2 days of down time.
A Paleo diet is a good way to determine if anything in your diet is causing any issues. For some, it may not work at all as we are all different but for me and my wife, it has made huge differences.
I’m going to do that very thing. This burns me so bad.
This and the Chip & Joanna Gaines thing.
Nice to see righties playing hardball with these vile lefties.
But I knew quite a LOT about this, prior to reading the book, because we actually learned about it in school. That was waaaaaaaaay back, before the FLOOD, when schools actually taught FACTS and nonrevionist American history.
I’ve become a believer in the grains being bad.
Apparently I have a couple of the same problems you do. I’ve cut a lot of grains out and a lot of processed food over the years and over time I’ve gotten better.
Still a way to go though.
Yeah which is why billions on this planet survive just fine on various grains and maizes. Grains come in a lot of varieties so you may have to specify which ones that may be among the more harmful!
“Kelloggs was founded by health nutters who were extremely weird and went in for and pushed crazy health regimes, that never made much sense at all.”

Founded by a Seventh Day Adventist , if memory serves.
OK, I’ll check that out. Thanks!
Snap, Crackle and Pop should not be allowed to pull their advertising.

The secret ingredient:
“Investigation launched into shocking video that shows man urinating on conveyor belt at Tennessee Kellogg’s factory that produces Rice Krispies Treats and cereal”

“Youd think that their values as a company would be limited to simply selling their freaking cereal.”

Are they a publicly traded company?
Then yes, they should keep their mouths shut. Their “values as a company” should be limited to making profits for their shareholders.
Alienating half of America doesn’t do that.
Yep!
IIRC...yes, I think they were Seventh Day Adventists.
