MADISON, WIS. Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein says she's committed to pay for a vote recount in Wisconsin even though she calls the estimated $3.5 million cost "exorbitant."
Stein says the estimate Monday from Wisconsin election officials means she'll be asking her supporters to raise another $2.4 million. In a statement Tuesday, Stein says it's an "undue burden" but won't stop efforts for recounts in that state and in Michigan and Pennsylvania.

If the press would actually do their jobs, they would be asking her to release her records so we can see who is contributing to this fundraising effort. At least release the ones who contribute more than say 50,000
If she wants to pay for recounts, I hope the states bleed her dry. Now that WI has said $3.5 million, no other state should go lower than that. I think perhaps $4.5 million for MI and perhaps $7.5 million for PA should be starting figures.

The article fails to mention she balked at the recount as prescribed by Wisconsin law and instead wants a full hand recount and filed suit for that.
She desperately wants to get her hands on the ballots. I guess this way shy can decide what the voters intent was and if they did not vote for a presidential candidate they will vote for one themselves just like Bush Gore in 2000.
