“how can a candidate who has absolutely no chance of winning demand a recount? As you suggested, she has no standing.”

I’ve convinced myself that they’re trying to get Trump to make noise. If he attacks, then they can claim that “something must be up since Donald is fighting back”. The wise move is to not even acknowledge it or simply say “This is literally nothing but an attention whore playing along with the media.”

People need to laugh at Stein’s antics ... liberals hate that. If this would escalate to be a legitimate threat, there will be much bigger problems to face ;-).

When is the court going to settle this?! This is BS. They’re stealing the election right under our noses

See post #40.

Some of the counties have already been certified. The was Allegheny county which was meeting this morning to certify there counties.

So I guess they only want to recount some counties- Fricking liberals.

Some of the counties have already been cerified. The county who just stopped short was Allegheny. “Allegheny County officials have delayed certifying election results until next month.

The county’s board of elections met Monday morning to certify results, but recessed until Dec. 12, county spokeswoman Amie Downs said in a release. The delay will allow the board to “review and respond to petitions/affidavits” filed in the county regarding the results.”

Stein’s claims are frivolous. She’s tampering with the election. There’s laws against that aren’t there?

So Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania have Republican legislatures.

Is this because each legislator is voted on by the voters in a specific area, rather than a winner take all statewide vote, and the representatives from the large urban areas are outnumbered?

Seems like we should assign Electoral Votes by how each Congressional District voted. Then no matter how massive a vote is generated in a large metropolitan area (sometimes through voter fraud and intimidation), it would not outweigh the votes in the rest of the Congressional Districts.

This would insure that each Electoral vote represented how each Congressional District voted and avoid the “Winner Take All” scenario we are stuck with currently.

Depends on the judge.

Funny thing. The current law system is based on the whims of a single person.

It is technologically impossible to hack a voting machine as they are not connected on the Internet. They will all be regarded as loons or sour grapes losers in a frivolous claim. Nothing more.>>>. the way to do it is to change the program that runs the machines. ours are configured for eaach election based on a matrix of buttons and the program tells which button on the matrix is for which person. That could be changed at the counting point or on the way in to loading the configuration. not hard really the master matrix will then be loaded to all the same machines in that county. no internet needed.

Absentee and provional ballots are not considered unless ther total numbers exceed the margin of difference. I may be wrong but it is my understanding.

Hillary and Trump had an agreement that neither would contest the election. So, Hillary is using Stein.

Trump is getting quite an education. If he survives this, I imagine Romney will be on his cabinet somewhere. If he refuses, expect a state or two election results to be put in jeopardy.

I hope you are right, but I am sure of one thing.

The Clinton’s don’t screw around. They are using Stein as a catspaw (notice she is currently in Cuba, so expect an appeal to the UN soon). This isn’t just a stunt.

Never underestimate your opponent.

Trump’s lawyers should challenge her standing. It is inconceivable that any recount could flip enough votes to give Jill Stein those electors.
Trump should Tweet, at least, that he is demanding a recount of California. On grounds that he has more chance of prevailing in CA than Jill Stein does in WI, MI, or PA. Let alone all three.

the hillary campaign is doing the ‘might as well join in, you never know’ thing with this recount, then the democrats ‘discover’ huge voting errors, uncounted ballots, etc.. and ‘golly gee’ look what we accidentally found!
they aren’t gonna prepare us for their bombshell ‘discovery’, just spring it on us while we all claim that the recount won’t affect the election.
gonna be a political pearl harbor
