And the gunman at large may have a special vest as well.

Sounds like Islamic terrorists and Ohio has had a number of busts of Islamic terrorist-types. As for attacks, I think there was a minor one at some Middle East Restuarant, I forget where in Ohio, I know I could find it. Lone wolf type of deal, maybe nobody was killed.

Yes, multiple attackers usually have been Muslim. One hospital where the injured were taken will just report the number undergoing treatment. Will not release gender or type of injury (gunshot or knife).

WBNS also reporting the incident first started when fire alarm pulled at Watts Hall. (When the students came out it appears they were attacked - if guns AND knives used, definitely a coordinated attack.)

Either all of these reports are wildly off, or this was a massive coordinated hit with more than a few people.

It is a scenario that I have often contemplated.
People are eager to post "Pull your own handgun and start blasting!"

The obvious question is blasting at...WHAT?
That random person seen coming down the hallway with a pistol in his/her hand might be another lawfully-armed person.
The optimal situation to me would be to lock a door, barricade it, draw my own weapon inside, and await the all-clear.

Nahhhh it’s just better to speculate all into a singular belief before any of the facts come in to stir up a frenzy. Because in the heat of the moment if you’re 100% wrong it’s a “meh somehow it’s usually Muslim” and then it’s onto some other rationalization why the speculation lined up with preconceived notions. If they are right then they’re GENIUS and the spouting of I knew it or told you so rules the day.

There is no longer waiting its now all instant gratification and some sense of emotional stimulant to spout off at the gums and be first to speculate to a correct conclusion
