Here in Los Angeles, where nearly half of the city’s residents are Latino, Mayor Eric Garcetti has vowed to do everything he can to fight widespread deportations of illegal immigrants.
In New York, with a large and diverse Latino population, Mayor Bill de Blasio has pledged not to cooperate with immigration agents. And Mayor Rahm Emanuel of Chicago has declared that it “will always be a sanctuary city.” Across the nation, officials in sanctuary cities are gearing up to oppose President-elect Donald J. Trump if he follows through on a campaign promise to deport millions of illegal immigrants. They are promising to maintain their policies of limiting local law enforcement cooperation with federal immigration agents.

And the above is assuming the left could go a DAY without federal money, which is ludicrous ! Leftists can't go a 5 minutes without a Big Mac or use of their EBT cards.
Would the Federal funds cut off include Medicare and Social security payments?

They talk big, but you know they would be filing lawsuits the minute the first dollar was cut.
The main reason that Obama has been able to get away with all the crap he has gotten away with is because he has been able hide the damage and to shield the American people from the consequences of actions
This shield is cracking with ObamaCare’s implosion and the skyrocketing premiums, but overall he has been able to sweep the damage under the rug to keep it hidden and borrowed massive amounts of money and used every financial and accounting trick to float the bills and hide the costs.
The bills are coming due and the people are going to have pay the price for Obamaville.
I suspect the the Trump DOJ will put uncooperative Urban PDs under federal control. That’s what these cities want?

But have you noticed that now the Fraternal Order of Police after supporting Trump are starting to pi$$ and moan about “the loss of Federal Law Enforcement Funding!” So they are simply a pack of union whores who have just told us their price! The problem we have in this country is that we have allowed their PE unions to elevate their pay scales to the point where cops and fire fighters have priced themselves out of work.
Funny how liberals love the Federal Government when they can force some farmer to lose his personal property rights due to some snail darter, supposedly on his land and deserving of Federal protection, yet when the Trump Feds force them to enforce laws against harboring criminals (admitted murders, rapists and gangbangers, etc.) who are committing crimes against their own citizens, they shout in unison "Hell No!"
One wonders how their own law abiding citizens feel about this.
We shall very soon see as the Federal teat dries up for everyone.
I think you are seriously misinformed if you think San Francisco wants to give up their sanctuary city policy. Here is their Board of Supervisors Resolution:
It is just dripping with hatred for Trump! SF is the city of my birth, but I try never to go there any more. And I hope that Trump makes an example of San Francisco first. It’s a relatively small city, and it relies on businesses whose employees don’t live there for it’s tax base.

Andrew Cuomo - jailbird in waiting
DeBlasio - also a jailbird in waiting
Don’t remember who the red is who is mayor of S.F. but they can go to jail too
Seattle: The whole city government should be in jail with one or two exceptions
Portland - the same
Philadelphia - all they need is more illegals since they don’t have enough crime and poverty as is it with locals
Austin and San Antonio - drugs and crime. They need more of both, you know

No. Medicare and Soc Security are paid to individuals. Social Security is money you earned, btw.
The funds withheld would be money the cities receive from the Feds for various programs. That money needs to be yanked. The city governments will feel it. For the more corrupt city officials (see Indio, CA), a large chunk of personal income will disappear.
Social Security is not “money you earned.” It’s just another entitlement program like any other. Taxes go in and far more benefits go out than are covered by the tax.

Their politicians should be federally charged. There is a federal law against aiding and abetting illegals. Bring it, AG Sessions.
SS is a Trust Fund, not an entitlement. It is money that workers have paid into the trust fund and are therefore eligible to receive @ retirement.
It isn’t the elderly’s fault that big government keeps stealing the money and uses SS as a slush fund.
Boomers are the first generation to have paid into the Trust Fund virtually all their working lives. They also paid for their parents and grandparents SS. Boomers paid in enough money to take care of themselves as well.
Direct your anger towards those who have stolen the cash and given it to others who did not earn it.
That’s a lot of mulla when u throw in roads and education.
