Much of the commentary about Kellyanne Conway’s Meet the Press appearance this morning has focused on her criticism of the prospect of Mitt Romney as Secretary of State. We’ll discuss that in a “Note” below but would like to highlight a striking statement by Chuck Todd that immediately preceded the Romney discussion.
Todd was grilling Conway over potential conflicts between Trump’s business interests and his role as president. Conway eventually had enough, and observed “I went back and looked at what all the press clips and the conversations on shows like this eight years ago. It was basically debating just how cool Barack Obama is. . . . if we’re not going to do that about President-elect Trump, we should at the very least trust him to do the right thing and comply with the law here.”
A visibly annoyed Todd shot back: “I understand. Every knee-jerk pushback is going to be to blame the media. It’s a crutch. I get it. And I’m used to it. But it’s not the fact.”

On the good side though, those of us that THINK these type things through real good, love you because you are perpetuating the complete destruction of a criminal organization aka the Democratic Party. Please! Don’t wake up! You guys keep it up! Next time it will be 90 million to 30 million.
Even though Chuck Todd doesn’t think the media is accountable, the people of this country forcibly held them accountable on November 8th.
One of the results of this is that Kellyanne has the moral authority to hold them accountable on an ongoing basis in interviews like this one.

It’s funny how Wellington twice uses “foreignness” in her description of the Trumps, as if there is suddenly something wrong with the idea of “foreign.”

Journalists criticize everyone who disagrees with them for not being objective - thereby claiming actual objectivity for themselves. And yet, candor about the reasons you might not be objective is the sine qua non of any honest attempt at objectivity.And journalists are systematically negative towards society. Whoever thinks negativity is objectivity? Only a cynic.
Cynicism towards society and naïveté towards government is precisely the operative definition of socialism.
Best part of that interview. She stuned his beeber; and nobody can piss & moan in 10 seconds like F. Chuck Todd.

Of course, the “news” people don’t want to be called out on their unethical behavior. There has never been a president-elect or candidate in the history of the United States that a substantial majority of the press has treated in such a deceptive, partisan, and propagandistic manner.
The press clearly showed that they were willing to throw any hint of professionalism or objectivity in the trash in order to try to take down Trump during the campaign. However, they hate to hear anyone notice their extraordinary biases and double standards out loud. Now that Trump beat them badly at their own game, they are even more angry at him, but they are too stupid to realize what a huge portion of the public they turn off by going way too far with this. Perhaps at this point we should thank them for their inadvertent help?
