exactly, most do not even try to do quality work and some don’t appreciate the tools they are given to use, it all costs the employer more money which costs the customer more.
We are in for a serious transition period if Donald gets millions of non criminal illegals out and or H1Bs out too. Good but uncomfortable to go through for many people.
Young and older folks will have to take on house cleaning, yard work all sorts of jobs they are now having illegals come into their homes to do, let alone the jobs like construction, factory, meat processing, hotel workers and store workers etc. while back we had article on FR about Chobani started by a foreigner largely with help from Govt money sources and hired mostly foreigners , if i remember correct.
And we lowered their taxes over the past thirty years. That is something I regret supporting.
I’m not opposed to Green cards. Workers who follow the rules are ok with me.
Who is going to work in San Francisco for $8-$10 an hour when rent costs you $3000 a month?
We need to find a different way, rather than inviting or tolerating 3rd world people to come here hand have an equal say in how to run the nation.

They have anywhere from 5 to 7 kids, don’t get married and pull in drug money on the side.
We are not receiving the cream of the crop from Mexico. We are receiving morons who couldn’t make it in their own country due to low brain power and low motivation.
If they were serious, they’d let them work without losing all their benefits. Say a sliding scale for minimum part time work.

But as someone said up thread, if they can’t get enough American workers for the pay they’re offering, they’re not offering enough.
Pretty much all the above. There is no work ethic in the ghetto culture. They maintain this notion that they should be paid top dollar from the get-go on the first day on the job - none of this "work your way up" nonsense. And showing up for work on time? That's being "white". Finally, what's the need to follow directions from some uppity cracka shouting orders?

My high school gave credit for one hour a day if you had an after school job.
I loved getting out an hour early on those days I didn’t have to work.

I am certain that if they started a roofing business and hired people who live in the Appalachian mountains they would find a gold mine of dedicated, hardworking employees.
Exactly. The catch of being on welfare is that you’re not allowed to make too much money without running the risk of being cut off. If the job goes South, how on earth is someone supposed to survive? Not everyone on welfare is in fact a mooch who does not want to work.
