It was a dumb thing to say.
Was it true?
If I were DJT I’d be putting him into a sinecure at the DoJ until there was a vacancy on the very court that sanctioned him.
Well...depending on how he’s been in other cases, I suppose...
Yep speaking the Truth in this day and age when the Libtards have a strangle hold on the judiciary bodies will get you disbarred if you piss off enough of them.
Sounds like he would make a great Supreme Court justice.
Not seeing the problem. If they wanna come here screaming “not my president,” and suck up welfare, they should go elsewhere. If that offends them, then they need to be offended. I live in Brownsville Tx. I would not be surprised if 3/4 of this 500,000 population town is illegal. I live with them all around me and I know how they are. I have no sympathy for them. Even if they’ve been here 15 years and bought a house, seize it, the property, freeze and confiscate their assets and give them the boot over the Trump Wall. They are ALL criminals, by definition.
And if a judge had said that we have to accept that Obama is our President or leave the country, you’d defend him as well?
This would not be happening if it was said 2008.
All they did was say he can’t do citizenship hearings anymore. He responded by saying he’s retiring in 2017.
Ridiculous!
Well yay. I’d still handle it that way. Screw ‘m, tell ‘em “you’re fired.”
And offer to let him handle ALL the citizenship hearings if he wants.
It was the RIGHT thing to say.
To sorta repeat myself, “would it have been true?”
Yes.
It’s the principle of the thing. Like it or not (and I didn’t, and made a career choice based on it), Obama has been “my” President for too long.
(If by “we” you mean “we people who are just about to take the oath of new citizens, but are still at the moment citizens of some other country”.)
The guy was telling them about the US electoral process. I guess we shouldn’t bother to teach citizenship to prospective citizens.
if he said obama they would be praising him
Agree, fellow Texan. They just don’t know- unless they live in a border state.
What are citizenship hearings like nowadays?
Applicants used to have to know who the CJ of the USA was, and I assume the POTUS as well.
I would think a smarmy response would be grounds to deny citizenship.
Of course, I suppose that denial has not meant expulsion from the USA.
