While we’re pulling old has-beens into the running, Henry Kissinger is still breathing last I heard.

I don’t trust Romney either. I don’t see it happening.

Trump is chumming the water with Romney.
I think he has someone already in mind—possibly just a tad controversial—and wants to draw out the media first in order to gauge how to play it.

Could it be that this whole SOS thing is a Trumpian “rope-a-dope”?

From inside the Trump campaign they let slip that they have been just deluged with opinions about Romney, and that the overwhelming majority think he is an unfaithful loser.I believe Trump does listen and learn on some issues. Perhaps a Mitt appointment will be one such case.

We know from Wikileaks that Haberman was essentially a Hillary operative.

My preference would be to not see Romney anywhere in the government in 2017. He spoke so badly of Trump that he shouldn’t be appointed anywhere, much less in lieu of someone else who is equally qualified. If for some unknown reason Romney simply has to be given a position, it should be an inconsequential one, certainly not SOS.

The NYTs, presenting fake news for going on five decades... Seems like it to me. From my adulthood in 1969 on, this paper and the Washington Post seemed to live in an alternate universe from me.Call them what they are...the NY Slimes and the Washington Compost

Rudy Giuliani.
He’s the guy, and no way Romney. In fact, I have more than a small problem with the Mormon coups d’éta attempt to take over the “conservatives” and the right-wing digital and AM world.
Never Romney. No.

Romney has one foot in the grave and another on the banana peel. Let him go. He signed his own death warrant.
