Trump to scrap Nasa climate research in crackdown on ‘politicized science’

Donald Trump is poised to eliminate all climate change research conducted by Nasa as part of a crackdown on “politicized science”, his senior adviser on issues relating to the space agency has said.

Nasa’s Earth science division is set to be stripped of funding in favor of exploration of deep space, with the president-elect having set a goal during the campaign to explore the entire solar system by the end of the century.

This would mean the elimination of Nasa’s world-renowned research into temperature, ice, clouds and other climate phenomena. Nasa’s network of satellites provide a wealth of information on climate change, with the Earth science division’s budget set to grow to $2bn next year. By comparison, space exploration has been scaled back somewhat, with a proposed budget of $2.8bn in 2017.

Bob Walker, a senior Trump campaign adviser, said there was no need for Nasa to do what he has previously described as “politically correct environmental monitoring”.

Trump should also look into the data manipulation that is being done by pseudo-scientists at the Dept of Commerce’s National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration [in its Climate Prediction Center] who were cherry picking data to try to make their case for supporting the secular religion of climate change.

I got this in my e-mail today....thought I would share it...

Subject: The Abject Depression

And not to be forgotten is how the steady flow of donations to the Clinton Foundation is said to have dropped by 95%. Doesn't that make you wonder how many places will now be willing to pay Hillary hundreds of thousands of dollars to talk to give them a speech? Poor babies, the Clinton's may actually have to start to live on their own income and not someone elses.

Think about this for a moment, my Friends:

Tuesday Nov. 8 at around 1700 hours, Hillary and 400+ Hillary Clinton loyalists gathered with 100+ cases of champagne, a Two-Million-Dollar, ($2,000,000.00) paid for massive fireworks display in downtown New York and a custom built dome with the mythical “glass roof” and the Bitch, (or as her Secret Service call sign names her-- “Broomstick One”) to celebrate Broom Stick One's victory over Trump as the first Female President of the United States. The inner cities were dancing in the streets, knowing their Welfare checks were going to continue and go up. Mexico was happy as they could continue to empty their prisons into America. ISIS was happy as they could continue to infiltrate America with their Terrorists!

Newsweek had already published and shipped the next issue with the cover “Madam President” and a detailed analysis of precisely how the Clinton political machine had captured the Electoral College with a whopping 324 votes. They had her acceptance speech in an article gracefully calling for all Americans to join with her and blah, blah, blah.

Among the 400+ giddy followers were those who had already received confirmation of their future assignments and high paid government jobs in the White House, FBI, Department of Labor, Ambassadorships and the list goes on. All were assured of at least four (4) and probably eight (8) years of lucrative jobs that they had dedicated over 3 years of their lives to achieving. They had all rented or bought housing in D.C. or nearby in Georgetown. Reservations had been made at the Hilton and other 5 star hotels in New York City for the PARTY.

They knew the fix was in: every poll and every media outlet except Fox News and Drudge was in the tank for Hillary and against Trump. At a rate of 45 to 1 Department of Justice employees had contributed to the campaign over Trump. CNN, NBC, CBS had all supplied Hillary with the debate questions well in advance. The fix was in over all the scandals and the WikiLeaks was all the fault of the Russians who had even changed the language in the emails. The Department of Justice and FBI had cleared Hillary of any criminal conduct.

Every media pundit and all of the polls except the LA Times and one other had Hillary with a 1-8 point lead. The odds in Las Vegas were 200 to 1 and by election time were still 5 to 1. The exit polls were 100% in the Democrat’s favor and the path to victory was clear.

Then within 5 short hours it all came crashing down. They were stunned—told to go home and go home they did so they could organize riots and proclaim to the world that Trump was not their President.

Imagine the abject depression and shock that set in.

I freaking love it.

"Congrats to All Patriotic Americans that love their Republic, great job!"

I got to say, I was the true pessimist when it came to Trump....never thought he stood a chance...the fix was in.... Needless to say I am relieved beyond all description.... If Hillary would have won I am certain it would have been the end of the U.S.A. as we know it... As it is, taking back America from the "Commie left" is going to be one of the most difficult jobs Trump as ever encounter... START WITH THE SCHOOLS AND UNIVERSITIES..!! TAKE BACK OUR CHILDERN

I wish Him well......

Umm no he didn’t. Rather than exegesis, you are engaging in esiegesis which is dangerous.

I am not the one playing semantics, I am rightly dividing the Word.

They have to do with illusions and none of this has anything to do with humanist propaganda.

Get some sleep.

*** “Exploration has always been done, recall Lewis & Clark? It falls squarely under national defense. NASA was only created as a civilian agency to avoid the overt identification of space exploration as having a military purpose during the cold war.

We have maintained the capability of getting to space for nearly sixty years for the same reason we maintain a navy and air force. We keep exploring space so that we are neither unaware of what is out there and so that we don’t lose that capability while another nation develops it.

Constitutionally, the functions of NASA belong in the Defense Department. Pulling it out was just a head fake with regards to the Soviets and it kept the hippies from sabotaging it politically.

Now the inevitable commercialization of space is beginning to happen. As that proceeds, a military presence will be necessary in the same way it is necessary on the high seas to protect shipping. Bringing back moon rocks and leaving footprints are just things that happened as a result of military needs.

We have weather, communication, gps, and remote sensing satellites as well that comprise critical infrastructure that also need to be protected the same as any other infrastructure. Waiting until there is an immediate threat to develop or create the means to defend this infrastructure will be too late” ***

Which is exactly why America Hating Obama has done what he has
Obama is Stupid but those that run him are not

Collecting data is one thing. Interpreting it is another. For example collecting water temperature throughout the Pacific Ocean is important in determining if there will be an El Nino or La Nina period in Pacific Coast weather and eventually the whole country. This data can provide indications as to whether there will be a high snowfall or low snowfall winter on the East Coast and elsewhere which helps city planners determine if we will need more or less stored salt, snow removal equipment, etc.

The same thing goes for data collected over Africa which helps predict the upcoming hurricane season in the eastern US.

If I remember correctly we have the space program to thank for Corningware and similar kitchen cookware developed from shielding from the nose cones of rockets. Also I believe that teflon came from space research. I am sure there are many others. As a cook I love my Corningware, thank you space program.

Given that over 90% of the universe is dark matter and dark energy, we are only beginning to understand the universe and its properties.

Given that over 90% of the universe is dark matter and dark energy, we are only beginning to understand the universe and its properties. Also, given the amazing creatures we have discovered in very cold and very hot areas of the earth, it is entirely possible that we will find similar organisms on mars and on our ice moons.

We need to develop the tech to have an FTL ship to send a baby to a habitable planet elsewhere when planet Earth explodes. NASA needs to focus on that.

More importantly, NASA needs to focus on creating tech that can obliterate a giant meteor heading for earth before it arrives.

That is what the B612 foundation has been doing, although they have scrapped enough funds to send a space probe to look for near earth orbit asteroids. Nothing to change the orbit of such hazards.

That’s some pretty expensive cook ware by that standard.

But really, corningware was here 20 years before the first rocket took flight. Teflon, at least 10 years before.

Sorry whine!

Space travel is humanist fantasy, and catering to it makes a small handful of people extremely rich.

The moon landings are not illusion. In fact the retro-prisms that were placed there have actually aided in understanding the Biblical calendar in more detail, by being able to plot the exact orbit of the moon.

The data are of no useful honest purpose.

The use of such costly satellites for a political ruse is an unconscionable waste of public funds.

He can save billions getting rid of climate change scams peppered throughout the government via grants and contracts. Some of the most stupid things the government researches is done in the name of climate change. It’s false justification to spend is everywhere.

Like liberals can control the climate...
