Trump makes it loud and clear that his education policy will focus on privatizing, defunding and destroying public education in AmericaThat's a shame;)

translation: Mr Trump has made a great appointment! who sounds likely to do almost everything that needs doing to fix the deplorable mess in public education... a system which would be recalled by the FDA or CPSC in a split second as a defective product

Liberals require railroad tanker cars full of butthurt cream. 1000’s of them. Well he did promise to us back to work and delivering all that butthurt is as good a reason as any.

Doesn’t she realize that there’s no point in giving Trump a strong endorsement like that after the election?
To: mdittmar
What a wonderful endorsement! I am so pleased that Trump picked Betsy and that she is being such fantastic accolades from her peers!

Some say you can judge a man by his enemies.
Randi is a great choice of an enemy.

Trump is going to make public education great again as it used to be before the AFT and liberal ideologs destroyed what worked.

“The president-elect, in his selection of Betsy DeVos, has chosen the most ideological, anti-public education nominee put forward since President Carter created a Cabinet-level Department of Education. Sounds like winning to me. Trump should work towards eliminating the DOE. It serves no useful purpose. States and local communities are more than capable to educate our children

She’s not a bad appointment, but she is just another “school reformer”, a path that in the long run leads nowhere. She’ll do some good things - clean out some of the leftists, reduce interference with the states, scuttle Common Core, talk up school choice. The most important thing is that she will be homeschool-friendly.

The AFL/CIO doesn’t like this, but plenty of teachers will disagree with their lords and masters. I have known plenty of teachers who would be happy to teach in a privatized school, where they can actually educate the kids instead of indoctrinating them.

The teachers' unions, the brainwashing teachers, the liberal, unchallenging curriculums, etc., etc., you name it...our education system is just as much a swamp as is Washington, DC.
DRAIN THE SWAMP !!! GO TRUMP !!!

Agree. Not bad, but not the Black Death of Federal government involvement in education that some of us crazies wished for.
