SAN ANTONIO – Seven hours before his arrest in the fatal slaying of a San Antonio police officer, capital murder suspect Otis Tyrone McKane was at the Bexar County Courthouse getting married as he was the subject of a massive manhunt, according to official records obtained by mySA.com.
McKane, held in Sunday’s ambush slaying of Det. Benjamin Marconi, married Christian Chanel Fields, who owns the white Buick McKane was in at the time of his arrest, after they obtained a magistrate’s waiver from the customary 72-hour waiting period after a marriage license is issued.

Is it love, or an attempt to utilize the spousal exemption on testimony because she might have known what he was up to, before or after the fact?
And, now that I think about it, would the spousal exemption affect testimony concerning the period between the crime and the marriage? Is she an accessory after the fact?

The white cop looks pretty scruffy. They need better standards in that department. The Mexican just looks like he pulled a 24 hour shift.
And a cop killer shouldn’t look that good after an arrest. His shirt, at least, should have been dirty from lying on the ground when he was arrested. Looks like the Ajax White Knight just rode past his laundry line.
