That’s what Vito Corleone said, too. Look what it got him. :>)

Most of people that spent time and effort to help get him elected have an emotional investment in Trump. And those people range from those who gave money or helped just one other person come out to vote. Upsetting them without a good reason makes no sense. He would have to make up for it big league down the road.

With what is going on in this country creating more turmoil makes me think he has something else going on.

Someone said Trump is thinking Rommey for Treasury. Is Romney a money guy? I might live with that.

Bolton is criticised for being one more neo-con, eager to splash around in the Middle East with always our boys doing the heavy lifting first, and primarily.

America has grown weary of our dead sons, particularly in the absence of a more direct threat to the homeland or to our Western allies.

However, our stupid allies are voting in their own direct threat with the open borders and global kumbiya with refugees and their ISIS infiltrators.

Agreed a low key position would be okay but not SOS.

That is floating around out there. Another name I never heard of is in the running as well, for Treasury, and even Jamie Dimon’s name has circulated, to a few hoots and much laughter.

Gingrich’s problem is that he shoots from the lip. I’m getting the impression that in TrumpWorld, only Trump can do that. It was that way on Apprentice. He often seemed to make some odd “you’re fired” choices. So often, looking back, it seems that loyalty trumps everything else. (pun intended)

IN terms of qualifications, there are clearly a lot of people with better foreign policy credentials.

But that list doesn’t include most of the names Gingrich gives. Guiliani? Fiorina? Kyl?

Bolton is the only name on the list that has some degree of foreign policy experience.

On the other hand, Romney does have excellent organizational skills, and would probably do a good job at the office. I mean, we had Hillary Clinton and now John Kerry, so it can’t be all that hard.

I would love to see Gingrich in that role.

Romney... well, I think the long knife will be out at every opportunity for him to try to stick Trump in the back.

He’s a weasel, and not to be trusted.

Newt is sounding more and more like an outsider to the Trump admin, IMO.

That’s nice - winning sucks so let’s see if we can’t stir up some $#1t and air all our “concerns” before he ever gets to implement his agenda. Freaking amazing - and we call the Left all sorts of idiots.

Bolton tops my list. WHEN HE IS ON FOX EVERYTHING HE SAYS MAKES SENSE.

Bolton is an honest man who can drain the swamp in State and get to the corrupt people who turned State into Hillary’s cash cow.

Having served in UN for years Bolton knows the people and issues better than anyone else.

True when you consider that Hillary & Kerry set the required organizational skill bar for State at the level of fungus!

I love Trump, I supported Trump and I voted for Trump. Trump can do many great things for America and the World. He has already made a difference, even before he takes office.

If he keeps the promises he has made, Trump could become one of the best presidents this country has ever had.

BUT, if he actually does pick Romney for SS, he will lose much of his base and destroy his own presidency.

I have read all of the attempts to justify this pick, if it really is his pick, and it’s just not going to work for me.

I thank God that Trump won and I continue to wish the best for him, but Romney isn’t, can’t and won’t be the best for our country. For crying out loud, Romney was willing to let Clinton win the election!

Seems like Bolton fits the Trump mold alot better than Mittens does. Plus he has experience in that area.
