Thompson Center also makes a 45 Colt barrel for their single shot pistols. Plus, it's a popular round for some lever action rifles.
Marlin and Henry make it in .45 lever action. I would LOVE to get my hands on a Marlin Lever action in .45 colt. The Henry works just fine too - holds 10 rounds and is fast and accurate.
Needing a damn “permit” for law-abiding citizens to carry is Un-Constitutional.

Those permits shouldn’t expire without good reason.
The last time mine was getting close to expiring, I went down to get it renewed maybe 3-4 weeks before it expired.
I was unhappy to find the procedures had changed such that you basically had to go through the process from scratch, such that I didn’t have my permit for about 30-40 days. Bad policy.

Well, unlike Elizabeth Warren and many of those who protest the Redskins, the Indians and other culturally insensitive names and expressions, I actually do have a little Indian blood in me, so maybe it’s OK.
BTW, I wonder just how many of those who claim to be sensitive to Native American culture have ever been to a reservation. I’ve been to a number of them - the Jicarilla, Mescalero, White Mountain, San Carlos, Navajo, Hualapai, Acoma and probably a few others. It seems every other truck (or car) on the rez has a front license plate or bumper sticker that says “Indian and Proud”...
yes. My point was it isn’t a semi auto pistol round. Although Desert Eagle has a 44 magnum semi auto pistol. I like the 45lc round, as I can load it down to 600fps and up to 1200fps. the cases are the weal link, as the ruger, can handle the pressures.
