President-elect Donald Trump will not pursue investigations of Hillary Clinton regarding her email server scandal and the Clinton Foundation when his administration begins, Morning Joe reported on Tuesday.
“A source with direct knowledge of Donald Trump’s thinking tells Morning Joe that in his administration, the president-elect will not pursue any investigations into Hillary Clinton for her use of a private email server and the Clinton Foundation,” co-host Mika Brzezinski said to open the broadcast. “The source tells Morning Joe that Trump feels Clinton has, quote, been through enough.”

Depending upon the statute of limitations, Trump will hold this over the Congressional Democrat’s head to force a semblance of cooperation.
Prosecuting and investigating the Clinton Foundation will bring down a lot of Democrats and some media people too.

I don’t know why you act as if the Trump administration will be incapable of doing more than three things at one time.
I too would like to see this corruption exposed and punished. An example needs to be made; absolutely necessary.
On the other hand everything is in front of Trump and any effort spent on things past will draw away energy required to overcome what promises to be stiff resistance.
The middle ground is appoint a Special Prosecuter and move on.
Could be a Trump ruse to keep Obama from issuing a pardon.
There either IS justice, or the is NO justice. The FBI should have free reign to take it to it’s obvious conclusion. The death penalty for Hillary.

Her ‘confirming’ it makes it double dog down true UNLESS, of course, the leaker was crossing his/her/its fingers.
He’s been wrong up to now. I certainly do not know why he would suddenly be correct. However, by the off chance that he is, it will hurt Trump out of the gate for sure.
Justice should not come second to political calculations. That was one of the major points of the election. It’s bad when Obama does it; it’s bad when we do it. Political considerations have NO PLACE in law enforcement. Period.
I do not doubt Trump said "Hillary's been through enough." That strategy is quite clever.....it serves to mollify the culprits until he can drop the hammer.
It is next to impossible to believe Obama knew nothing about the Clinton big buck/intel-selling operation.....he, himself, was surely pocketing a cut of the loot, as long as he played along and acted stupid about what they were doing.
AG Sessions is not the kind of man who would ignore wrong-doing on the scale of the Clintons' operation.....dismissing treason and espionage for political reasons.

Chaffetz can keep the investigation alive until Trump's DOJ can move in.
Trump is playing chess while everyone else is playing checkers. Obama must now decide if he should issue a pardon to the Clintons and the rest of their crime family before he leaves office. This “leak” will make Obama’s decision more difficult. The Clintons won’t want to depend on the “leak” to save them. And Congress is still proceeding with its investigations.
Trump has all the leverage. He can use the possibility of a prosecution of the Clintons to move his agenda forward with the Dems. This “leak” is a reminder of who holds all the cards.

Didn’t he say “they’re (Clintoon’s) are good people”?
Didn’t he say “I don’t want to hurt them (Clintoon’s).
It’s not hard for me to get the impression that he doesn’t want to prosecute them.
Trump will do what Trump wants to do with or without some media “wannabe important” commentators opinion.
Personally, I hope he DOES go after Hitlary as she and Billy “Cigar” Bob are both criminals. In addition in the investigation should be the Clinton Foundation which seems to be a VERY ILLEGAL “Pay to Play” money scam which SHOULD put both of them, and perhaps her ugly daughter, away for some time to come. All monies raised through that scam should be confiscated and held by the government.
Perhaps it’s Laura Ingraham pushing this idea to take the “go easy approach” in order to sooth the fears of all those snowflake woman.
Note to Laura Ingraham, we do not need another Dana Perino in the White House. We need an Ann Coulter or Michelle Malkin.
He will let Congress hold their hearings. Then, Congress can request that he appoint a special prosecutor and he will honor that request. So, technically, he is not pursuing the investigation.
