I’m asking myself why anybody would want to come into the US illegally right now, knowing Trump is acting very serious about getting rid of Obama’s damage to the country. Are they thinking they can hide from deportation if they get here now? Are they thinking it will only be criminals who are deported so if they keep their noses clean they’ll be fine? They have to know that whatever cover/providence/rewards Obama has offered will not get them through the time it takes to get settled. Even if they go to a sanctuary city, it’s not going to help them because sanctuary cities are being realized as an act of war against the rest of the country and her borders.
The smartest thing for any of them to do would be to rush to get in line for LEGAL entry as quick as possible - so you’re in the front of the line when the back doors are all closed.
I’ve given up trying to understand how most people think, but this rush to enter makes no sense to me. Unless - as you’ve suggested - there are people who WANT to be right in the middle of the doo-doo when it hits the fan.
An article I read today said there’s an average of about 1,500 illegals apprehended each day. I wonder how many are Muslims.

Yes it is, especially since this program was paid up through the end of 2017. I read on one site that said Obama removed use of Phalanx since crossings have been reduced and not needed. Foolishness and not true!
In South Texas, they are using the Dept of Wildlife to arrest those crossing into unauthorized areas. Ridiculous!

Are you kidding? Ryan and McConnell and the rest of the Republican leadership refused to stop Obama from illegally legalizing illegally aliens. They refused to stop him from using taxpayer dollars to fly illegal aliens directly into the country from Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador.
Or bussing them from the border all over the country.
There aren’t very many governmental duties listed in the Constitution, but protecting the borders, providing for the common defense (maintaining an adequate US military), and an annual budget are mandatory.
Government is trying to do everything EXCEPT those things. We haven’t had a budget since Obama’s occupied our White House. In the Continuing Resolutions everything got funded EXCEPT the military, which experienced spending cuts - to the point that the military doesn’t provide its fighters necessary protective gear or adequate practice/training.
This isn’t just un-Constitutional. It is downright ANTI Constitutional.
