Byron York: Attorney General Jeff Sessions is Democrats' nightmare
Washington Examiner ^ | Nov. 20, 2016 | Byron York

President-elect Trump's transition team knew that nominating Jeff Sessions for Attorney General would set off controversy. Democrats and their allies in the press have at key times in the past called Sessions a racist — they're now using the Alabama senator's full name, Jefferson Beauregard Sessions III, to heighten the Old South effect — and now, as they oppose Trump at nearly every turn, they've turned to race again.

Here's why the effort to stop Sessions is likely to intensify as his confirmation hearings near. Sessions is the Senate's highest-profile, most determined, and most knowledgeable opponent of comprehensive immigration reform. Democrats are particularly anxious about immigration because of the unusually tenuous nature of President Obama's policies on the issue. Those policies can be undone unilaterally, by the new president in some cases, and by the attorney general and head of homeland security in other cases. There's no need for congressional action — and no way for House or Senate Democrats to slow or stop it.

WOW!! This terrific article hows what a great pick Sessions is for AG, how much Obola violated the law, and how President Trump can implement almost all of his immigration agenda simply by enforcing existing law.

But, but, he made a conceivably racist comment 30 years ago.

However, Bill Clinton’s comment that Obama “would have been fetching their coffee a few years ago” is all but forgotten.

Funny... while Democrats had a Grand Dragon leading their party in the Senate... Jeff Sessions was getting the death penalty for a Klansman who murdered a black teenager in Alabama.

But, we’re the racists.

This fight is reminiscent of fight over John Ashcroft appointment to AG by Pres. Bush, back in ‘01.

For those who are really into subject, the source used by Byron York and referenced in the article can be found HERE.

The first paragraph sums up the Obama corruption of the immigration system quite nicely and is worth repeating:

"I've got a pen and I've got a phone," President Obama famously said two years ago, openly proclaiming his strategy of ignoring Congress and acting unilaterally — and often illegally — to advance his agenda. He has adopted this approach regarding immigration as well, most notably in a series of November 2014 memos further reducing enforcement of the law and granting work authorization and Social Security numbers to millions of illegal aliens (that amnesty is held up in court).

Any allegations against the Sessions Justice Department should be thoroughly investigated by the Sessions Justice Department.

....However, Bill Clinton’s comment that Obama “would have been fetching their coffee a few years ago” is all but forgotten...

The rules are ALWAYS different for Democrats.
Consider Senator Robert Byrd(D), leader of the KKK in West Virginia. A simple internet search will find pictures of him in his colorful KKK sheets. Hillary says he was a mentor.
But, to blacks in his state he was a tormentor. But, actual racists, even racists from long ago, are icons to Democrats.

The people yelling racist about Sessions have to be called out as bigots. What evidence do they have against Sessions? Let’s see...he’s white, from Alabama, and as “III” has identifiable parentage. Their conclusion: he’s an evil racist. I look forward to his term as AG.

"A Trump administration would not need to ask Congress to pass any new laws to deal with illegal immigration."

Of course. The point is to enforce the law.

I hope that President Trump will appoint a special commission, with subpoena powers, to investigate lawlessness, corruption, and the willful and/or selective enforcement of law, including the Clinton Foundation, corruption of such agencies as the Justice Department, the IRS, and the FBI, and the entire Obama Administration, including Obama's eligibility to serve as President.

If it be proven that Obama was indeed eligible to serve as President, so be it; all suspicions to the contrary are laid to rest once and for all. If, on the other hand, he was not, all actions of his administration are null and void, including judicial appointments, treaties, et al. Let truth be the guide and the final arbiter and the chips fall where they will.

And remember: George W. Bush refused to enforce U.S. immigration laws, in violation of his responsibility and Oath of Office to do so. This should be brought out and made clear, and he should be held accountable even if only by the exposure of it.

And action should be taken to prevent to selective enforcement of the law, whether it be by local police, the FBI, the IRS, the Justice Department or whatever.

This is a tall order, but President Trump is up to the task. It's a matter of justice, law, and the equal protection of all American citizens under the law.

"Attorney General Jeff Sessions is Democrats' nightmare"

A convincing reason to have Jeff Sessions as Attorney General. Let's hope all the rest of Trump's appointments are also Demonicrats' nightmares!!!

And his ‘Justice’ Dept sued AZ for trying to enforce immigration Laws. It will be nice when LAWS mean something again.

I have been thinking, over the last few days, that it was Bill Clinton who brought the Politics of Personal Destruction to DC. Before that, most candidates only attacked the policies and voting records of the opposition. I figure the reason Trump won is that he fought Hillary with her own tactics. No Republican before that would get down in the muck with the Dems. And Trump, aided by WikiLeaks and Project Veritas, beat them at their own low game. FINALLY! We had a candidate that fought fire with fire. We have needed someone like that for a long time. Prayers that Trump/Pence can right the Good Ship America. Get out your pen, Mr Trump.....there are a boatload of Obama EAs and EOs that need to be struck from our history.

Not only is Obama not eligible, but MANY agencies and the US military are involved in covering up that fact. Including falsifying evidence when such evidence was brought to their attention. If the American public is willing to hear it, and any “conservative media” willing to tell it, there will be a story that reveals just how badly the WHOLE system of governance has been Obama’s propaganda/mafia machine.
