The US vice-president elect, Mike Pence, was booed by a theater audience when he attended the hit hip-hop musical Hamilton in New York on Friday night – and then had a message about protecting diversity delivered to him from the stage after the curtain call.
On Saturday, President-elect Donald Trump accused theatre-goers of having “harassed” Pence, writing on Twitter: “Our wonderful future V.P. Mike Pence was harassed last night at the theater by the cast of Hamilton, cameras blazing.This should not happen!”
He also demanded an apology: “The Theater must always be a safe and special place.The cast of Hamilton was very rude last night to a very good man, Mike Pence. Apologize!”

One of the other threads said Pence paid $700 to see the show. Not sure why it was that high..but sheesh...to pay that much and then get humiliated.

Part of me wants Trump to shut up and stop acting to thin-skinned. Leftist pukes are going to be leftist pukes. On the other hand, part of me is proud of him for sticking up for his VP and demanding an apology from those worthless dopes.
I saw a clip of what happened on Fox this morning. The reaction of the audience seemed to be much more mixed than some of the headlines have suggested.
“acting to thin skinned” should be “acting so thin skinned.”

This is touching to tears and hard to fault.
And yet, Donald, there was One who stuck up for both of you. On a cross.
There WILL be catcalls, Donald. Jesus himself personally got crucified. They may not even know enough to understand they truly do owe such an apology yet. Certainly Donald and Mike can’t set themselves up to get bent out of shape when they get dissed, as they continually will. Out of care and concern for the rest of America, God will bless them to keep on truckin’ even when the road is full of spikes.
Unfortunately, the producer looks like an independent producer unlike, say, the Nederlanders so I doubt he’ll get what he demands. Too bad but now all those Midwestern tourists are going to avoid this show like the plague. And it’s Christmas season - the busiest season for NYC.
I wonder if the audience cheers when Burr kills Hamilton.
