My 5 yo grandson brought home a note 2 weeks ago instructing parents to send their kids to school even if they are sick so that their class can have a shared illness experience.Dumbest thing I've ever heard!
I'm in education. There are some of us that don't agree with Common Core, zero Tolerance, and many other namby pamby daffodil policies!
I also believe that kindergarteners should be allowed more good old fashioned playing and less "They need to be able to write a 5 paragraph essay before 1st grade" attitude.
