Well, it had a slight basic in fact. If you read "Band of Brothers", one of the paratroops had all of his brothers killed, as in the movie.
However, if I remember right in real life, the army sent a division chaplain to track the guy down, and send him home. That wouldn't have made much of a movie, though.

Tom Hanks is a great person. He may be a Democrat, a liberal, but he is a great person. I know him from another message board on a health topic. He is a decent human being, very down to earth, considering.
We really missed an excellent movie.
“Sully” is worthy of an Academy Award IMHO.
Hanks never got in my face as to who he was voting for and I didn’t feel the need to boycott him.

But Obummer cheapens everything he touches.
Yes, Sully was produced and directed by Eastwood. I’m referring to the movie “Inferno”, the third part of Dan Brown’s trilogy that began with Da Vinci Chronicals.
Inferno had an opening weekend of $15. Million, far less than hoped for. The movie was beaten by Tyler Perry’s “Boo! A Madea Halloween” plus the World Series grabbing attention.

of some stupid remarks about an election.
