Yes, it seems like there’s historical consensus that Ford’s pardoning of Nixon was a main reason why he lost the 1976 election to Jimmuh Carter. Does Obama want to further stain his “legacy” for HER? Is she really worth it?
I’ve read a bunch of blah blah blah re: how it takes a very long time (months/years) to get a presidential pardon. However, my research shows that Gerald Ford became POTUS on 8/9/1974 and he pardoned Nixon on 9/8/1974. So “process” really doesn’t mean anything if a POTUS wants to ram-rod through a pardon.

I find it ironic that Hillary (and her supporters) want to side-step the laws and rules of the Electoral College, once again proving that laws do not apply to the Clintons.

So will Hillary try to dodge this by trotting out a constipated version of Nixon’s “Checkers” speech, or will she try borrowing Nixon’s “You won’t have Nixon to kick around anymore” denouement?

It wouldn’t necessarily be a bad thing if Hildabeast were pardoned...the investigations into the Clinton Foundation and the Clinton Global Initiative will go forward.
If Hillary is pardoned, the 5th amendment does not apply since she cannot incriminate herself by her testimony under oath. She would be forced to testify in whatever investigations and/or criminal proceedings are to follow...and could be held in contempt and jailed/fined for refusal to do so.
Oh she is getting nailed for tax evasion.
