Decades of the Left teaching (make that indoctrinating) our "yuts" that the government and the world owes them something for free. You and I weren't taught to rely on others for our existence.

By 26, I was a college graduate and an Air Force Captain, commanding a squadron of enlisted men. I never would have thought about living with my folks after school. It just wasn't done.

Today, these powder puffs are taught self-esteem and participating, not winning. They will be hit hard up the side of the head when they get out into the real world, if they ever get out of their pajamas in mommy's basement.

The Snowflake Generation: a new demographic that encompasses both GenX and millennials. Somehow, GenXers are escaping scrutiny when most of them are in it as deep if not deeper.

Snowflake or Diaper Pin Generation. Either works.

The funny thing about the safety pin symbol it that hackers say 4-chan started it as a joke on them and they took it up.

I went to a one room grade school in rural Wisconsin. No running water—2 outhouses in the back of the property—8 grades—14 kids—1 teacher who had 2 years of ‘college’. I wouldn’t trade that education for ANYTHING available today.

I was working full time when I was 17 and I never had much of a problem finding a job. I bought my first house when I was 26, with $5000 sale of my share of my mother’s estate. (My brother cheated me—but that’s OK—MY current net worth is better than his) I own 3 homes in 1989 & had 2 of them rented out. I now own every little piece of the property I live on..every vehicle...every appliance..everything. I budget carefully, but I am OK.

IF I had kids & I was told to carry them on MY insurance until they were 26 or 31, I think I would write a will completely disowning my kids & then moving out of the area & NOT telling anyone where I was.

IF they cannot stand on their own 2 feet by then, I have failed completely & I need to go HIDE....
