School lunches that are ‘healthy.’ People hate those.

I’m thinking you didn’t read my entire post.

you didn’t read my entire post.

We're probably reading each other's posts just fine while failing to read each other's minds.   Let's refocus on policy and what we know.  This is from Trump Oct. 22. 2016

....on the first day of my term of office, my administration will immediately pursue...   ...a hiring freeze on all federal employees to reduce federal workforce through attrition (exempting military, public safety, and public health)...

We probably already agree that this sounds nice and we should also understand that there's no mention of just how much it will affect FY 17 budg. spending.   That's the problem, there's no info on what's up ahead and what we got is a chance to make suggestions on what we do want.

I'm asking.  How about we cut the debt and prepare for soaring outlays for debt interest by ending baseline budgeting and slashing spending for HHR and SSA.  From what I can see raising tax rates (including Trump's proposed tax hikes on imports) will cut revenue.

Apologize if I misunderstood. I am a pretty conservative fella. I want government shrank...dramatically. Exceptions of course, border/immigration and national defense.

We could realize sizable cuts in all federal agencies and it would be a drop in the bucket. We need to address social security/medicare and other entitlements.

My understanding is that .70 cents of every dollar goes to entitlements and interest on the national debt. Correct me if I am wrong. Lawmakers should pass a balanced budget amendment as well.

That's about what we had up above in post #30; sounds like we're agreement on this stuff along w/ a lot of other folks.   imho this looks really good.
