I read early on that Trump actually had someone on his staff surfing the net for TWO years, and briefing him continuously on what issues were important to the average person, not just republicans.
The WikiLeaks emails to and from John Podesta's desk magnified the surreal world the Clintonoids live in.

They all heard the voice alright, they just felt secure enough in their positions to willfully ignore it in the interest of their donor masters.

I don't think they do. I believe they KNOW they are misleading and advocating. They view interaction with the public as an adversarial process, wehre the press advocates the positions it prefers, and hoopes the judge (the public) will adopt the press advocacy.
Trump is correct, the press is the most dishonest recognizable group of people in the world.

They have ignored us for years. They thought that we little folks could be controlled. History shows that to do that eventually has consequences.
Donald heard the people. Ryan hears the cash/power.
Mainstream media did not do their job, which is reporting the news. They tried to shape the election by assuming the role of Hillary’s propaganda ministry. We The People get our news from reliable sources.
The MSM goal was never in reading the tea leaves. They couldn’t care less. Their main goal was in shaping the outcome.
