It was quite large. I took a picture but I don’t have a telescopic lense and haven’t learned how to take pictures through my telescope yet. I really need to get with it and learn more about what it can do. LOL!

You just need to get a camera with a good zoom. That little Nikon I bought a few months ago is what I used. No telescope necessary.
I bought the camera to snap pix of the wildlife around the farm and getting those moon shots turned out to be an extra bonus.

All the moon pix I’ve posted the past few months were done with that camera. And it was one of the cheaper ones. The kid at the store kept trying to move me over to the $1,000-plus cameras but I wasn’t going for it. They probably wouldn’t have done a much better job than the one I got.
I didn’t go full zoom and maybe I should give it a try to see what turns out. Heading out the door to give it a try.
