My initial reaction is revulsion. But then I remember criticizing FReepers who doubted Trump before, when I KNEW he was right. So now I will hold my doubt in abeyance, because Trump is pretty smart.

Typo. Should read “He ignored the PTB in the RNC when they told him to block Trump.”

Trump was like Preibus’s 4th choice, or put it another way Trump already won and Preibus had no choice.

Preibus was first for his buddy Gov. Walker who bombed out.
Then Bush was supposedly the GOPe heir and he lacked energy and bombed out.
the Cruz was not Trump and had more traction and so in Wisconsin they engineered a win for Ted at Trump’s expense.
That is just fact, the big town’s Walker and Ryan control so well voted against Donald.

Given this history, I am with Savage he cannot be trusted

I agree with Savage on this. Priebus will by Ryan’s mole in the Trump White House, feeding back information to Ryan.

Def: mole-- A spy who operates from within an organization, especially a double agent...

So you don't think Trump is smart enough to figure out how much rinse can be trusted?

Agreed. Trump is a raging bull. I trust Trump, he did not do everything he has done to do nothing once elected.

Trump has been saying the same things since the 1980s. He knows what he intends to do and deserves the servants he thinks will help get them done.

We have the greatest control we will likely ever have over the federal government. We need to get our agenda actually passed into law and implemented. We need to co-opt some people from the establishment that know how to get things.

He can always fire Reince if he proves a fink. Trump is real good at firing people...

Savage isn’t far off the mark.... but there’s a difference.... Trump is going to push his agenda.... Reince’s job is thread the needle.... I think people will be surprised that when people feel empowered to create change, they will....when their leadership says maintain status quo, that’s what the do... its called follow the leader.

His father is of German descent, his mother is greek. His first name is Rheinhold. Reince is a nickname.

A deal must have been struck between Reince and Trump during the primary. Trump probably offered him a position if Reince didn’t allow for any contested convention etc.

Unlike almost everyone in the process, Reine played it straight, supporting the nominee without undercutting him, like Ryan, Romney, or Graham.

He was a good soldier for the rinos, but when trump got the nomination he became great soldier for Trump.

I agree... I've hired people who were a disaster somewhere else and they were great. We've seen lots of athletes who just needed the right coach. Priebus might work out great under Trump and if not, there is always "You're fired".

How many people has Trump hired in his life? How many has he fired?

Priebus will either perform to Trump's satisfaction, or he will be quickly replaced, without apology.

Wrong.

Reince played it straight during the primary.

“Savage is a good commentator, but he’s not correct on this one. “

I agree. Priebus is loyal .. he proved that in the election. If this calms the nervous GOP-e... well, good. Trump needs to WORK with the GOP-e in order to get anything done (please note, “work with” doesn’t mean “sell out to”!!!!). I think it’s a good choice. I’m happy that he seems to have jettisoned Christie (who’s tainted now by Bridgegate) and hope to see Rudy as AG.

Reince Priebus was supportive when it counted. So he is being given his chance and also is being eased out of the GOPe chair to make way for someone more in line with our system.

Give him a chance as CoS, he might do a good job, if not then he can be fired.

Which I might point out NOT something that Trump could do to the RNC chair.

Personally I would make priority one that the National Party does not get involved in primaries. That is the state or even local party's business. Having the National Party automatically funnel money and support to the incumbent results in the "Career Politician Protection Racket" that we have going.

Agreed.

Trump is anything has given certain ideas that...in the cuck world were never to spoken. Now that PC is dead, Rush is literally blabbing on the other day about “what’s the big deal about whites having an identity” when speaking of the folks “scared” about whites voting in white interests.

And I digress but my point is, you will have “establishment” types come out of the closet as being closer to Trump in thought, and just needed a reason to stop being a globalist

Oddly enough if you look it up in the genealogy records you find it likely to be Scots.
