He was loyal to Trump from the nomination through the election.

I’m not going to question Trump’s judgment on this one. If he doesn’t move Trump’s agenda then he will hear those immortal words: YOU’RE FIRED !

“because he knows the rest of the RINO’s will listen to Priebus on such issues. “

EXACTLY!

Oh for Pete’s sake Michael, pearls are unbecoming on you.

Take a breath ok...Trump trusts Reince, he knows things we don’t know, has worked with him for months.

Reince went out on a limb denouncing the former GOP celebrities like the Bush’s for not climbing aboard the Trump Train. Some of my GOP friends who had opposed Trump have told me that one of the first things on their agenda after Clinton won would be to dump Reince as GOP chairman. Well they get their wish today but in a totally good way.

Savage needs to chill. Let Preibus prove his worth or unworthiness for the job.

Trump is an excellent executive, and knows what to do whichever way Preibus performs.

This is going to be one of those times that I think Savage is right.

You have to have somebody at that position that...

1. You Trust

2. KNOWS the politics

That position MUST have a person with one foot in the sewage of politics and the other on solid ground. For that reason, he is the perfect one. You can't put a political novice into that position and expect it to work. There are too many "operatives" like Ryan and McConnell (lifetime political hacks and pros) that will stick one in your back if you don't have someone "savvy" to see them coming and stop them. I don't want a "political novice" standing between those "blades" and MY PRESIDENT.

Savage is a good commentator, but he's not correct on this one.

I don’t think RP was picked to help decide Trumps policies. He was picked to see that the policies Trump wants happens!

Am I alone in thinking Priebus looks like Tom Hanks?

No! It took me a while to figure out who he reminded me of, but now every time I see him all I can think of is Tom Hanks! I am willing to give Priebus the benefit of the doubt right now. I give him a lot of credit for the fact that DJT was able to secure the nomination in the face of so much opposition at the convention. I think he took control and had the foresight to see that Trump was the very best candidate "for such a time as this".

A little like Tom Hanks looked ten or fifteen years ago.

“I was just curious because his name is so unusually.”

Reince is short for Reinhardt.

Reince has one Greek parent and one German parent, and has described his life as “One Big Fat Greek Wedding”.

“I wasn’t a big fan originally. But became one after the convention.”

That’s my position, as well.

I was very critical of Priebus over the last couple years, and especially in the early days of the primary season. However, I have to admit that once Trump became the nominee, Preibus was on board with both feet, and he played a very prominent role in Trump’s victory. He ignored the PTB in the RNC when they told him not block Trump.

I was hoping that Trump would appoint Savage to Ambassador to Great Britain

Exactly. Too many people are missing the point of this. Preibus no longer runs the RNC. Trump can now put people loyal to him in charge of the RNC and the entire party apparatus. Trump is two steps ahead of everyone else.

When did Reince betray Trump?

I don’t recall any betrayal.

Maybe you are still butt hurt about Cruz.

Put some lotion on it.

Savage doesn’t appreciate Trump’s BRILLIANCE.

With Rinse no longer running the RNC, guess who appoints his successor - and guess who holds the traitors accountable.

‘friends close
enemies CLOSER!’

Hopefully Reince isn’t thinking the same thing......

My gut is that he’s not.

Reince came on board the Trump express no less than Kellyanne did. People said the same thing about her at first.

He has been strong in his defense of Trump. Amazing that people are dying for a leader then as soon as he makes decisions think they are smarter.

“Priebus is ‘the enemy within,’ Savage warns. ‘He’s the RNC! Everything the voters rejected,’ Savage tells Breitbart News. ‘He will steer Trump away from every policy we sent him to D.C. to change. He is the enemy within. He is [Paul] Ryan, [Mitch] McConnell, and the Old Guard. They do not want change. Out with the old, in with the new.’”

I agree with Savage on this. Priebus will by Ryan’s mole in the Trump White House, feeding back information to Ryan.
