Donald Trump might only be a part-time resident of the White House.

The New York Times reported the president-elect is already talking with his advisers about how many nights a week he will actually stay in the official presidential mansion. According to the newspaper he has told them he would like to do what he always has – spend time in New York.

Trump, according to the newspaper, was shocked when he won the election and is trying to come to terms that his life is about to change. The Times noted that during the campaign he often flew hours late at night just to sleep in his own bed in Trump Towers in New York City.

Ivana just gave an interview to the New York Post saying he would make the White House his primary residence.

You know, if he ran the Presidency from Trump tower, abandoned teh White House and ordered reopening of traffic on Pennsylvania avenue he would be doing the world a big service.

D.C. Traffic patterns have not recovered from Bush's idiotic move.

Of course not. He'll be overseeing the construction of the new White Tower."

Oh, I hope he'll be selling their hamburgers there ;-p

He could live in the old post office.

It’s ready now. Under-budget and ahead of schedule :-)

That obama slept on? What about all of the gay sex he had with Michael and Reggie on that bed?

Mrs. Theknow opined the other day, "Do you think Donald will really take a step down and stay in the White House and fly Air Force One?"

We saw this thread and laughed out loud!

I’ve heard it said that he would front some of the $$$ for extra Secret Service/Security.

In some ways, the White House is pretty exposed and vulnerable. It might be wise, at least for a while, for him to not sleep in the cess pool until it’s been drained a bit.

NewsMax? Any way it will require considerable fumigation (debugging) and cleaning to make the white house livable.

“The Liberal Media needs to shut up. I am so tired, along with most Americans, of them telling us what we should think, feel, and how we should act.”

You’re so right. I was just watching the CBS stream, and all they push is

A) Trump has already broken his word to his supporters by not eliminating every bit of Obamacare (ignoring the fact that “news” that he wants to keep parts of it aren’t news at all, but something he said during his rallies).

B) Protests! Violence in the streets! Unhappy snowflakes demanding the world conform to their brainless vision of the world.

C) Nothing else. They’re still stuck on pro-left, anti-Trump and, obviously, WILL be no matter what Trump does or when he does it.

Hopefully dismantling the MSM propaganda network is somewhere on Donald’s list.

That’s true. Witness the 3 AM tweets this year. I suspect there’s going to be a lot of tired White house staffers com next year.

The White House is a symbol. It’s The People’s House that we allow someone to reside in for a certain amount of time. Overseeing our affairs.

It’s important for you to be there.

Donald. I love you man. I’ve backed you, supported you, and voted for you. But you’re not running Trump, Inc. anymore. You’re running the US of A.

Optics are important, and I know you know that.

Exactly.

And just why is newsmax treating NY Times as a real news source, I wonder?
