Ingraham would not comment for this article. A source familiar told The Hill that she's in contact with people in Trump's inner circle and has expressed interest in the role.
The president-elect and his inner circle hold Ingraham in the highest esteem. They view her as tough, admire her rhetorical skills, and believe she'd powerfully convey Trump's anti-establishment message.
Selecting Ingraham would send a signal that Trump has no interest in softening his relationships with the Republican leaders in Washington, D.C.

That would be good. She is always cheery and charming. Quick on her feet and humorous. Reminds me of Tony Snow. He always seemed to be enjoying himself and it showed. Earnest is terrible.
There’s an hilarious You Tube video of her at her cancelled Fox show from several years ago. Although put together by libs, it’s Laura at her worst - berating everybody from her makeup girl to her producers. She was caught doing it on her radio show this summer - dropping F bombs on her staff. She’s incapable of working the studio board no matter how many years she’s been in radio and always blames poor Drew or whoever happens to be around. Not my favorite. I would prefer Ann Coulter who is genuinely amusing.

WAY back in the beginning, on a FOX appearance - when there were 16 candidates on stage - they asked who would win - she said, with out a blink of an eye “TRUMP”

Still can’t believe she hedged on election night eve when Hannity asked her to predict if Trump would win.
You can tell Trump watched a lot of Fox News with the way the names of so many Fox commentators are in play for cabinet posts. It must be making liberals’ heads explode! Which is the main reason I voted for Trump. No better sign you’re doing the right thing than if it pisses off a liberal.
I’m not objecting to her .. but I wonder how she would handle a 24/7 job with 3 children.
She’s not married .. and I have no idea what her lifestyle is, but Press Secretary is your whole life .. your personal life doesn’t exist.

That would be fabulous!! I thought about her for this role, but I did not think she would want to live in such a straightjacket when she has such a great life... usually total unknowns are groomed into that position.... but if she is interested she is an IDEAL choice. She will dominate the Mediascum with a smile and a rapier wit. SHe will represent Trump admin. policies and priorities with superb judgment. She could be the best WH Press Secretary of all time.
Laura has a temper? I’ve never heard that on Fox or her radio show.
Why’s that bad? Not like Trump has been very genteel with the liberal press.
