A left-wing charity organization with unknown sources of money is providing the funding for protests around the country — some of which have turned into violent riots — that have threatened a divided nation’s ability to unify after a contentious presidential election.
The Progress Unity Fund is a tax-exempt 501(c)3 organization — the same classification as the Red Cross. The group’s mission is to “provide a progressive alternative to mainstream charities,” according to its IRS filings.
The fund provides the financial backing for Act Now To Stop War & End Racism (ANSWER) Coalition, a left-wing activist group that began organizing “emergency protests” immediately after Trump’s election.

I have belonged to groups who have run a number of 501(c)3s...all sources of funding are known. What Federal Agency isaiding and abetting the riots in our cities by The Immature Slugs destroying their own nests? It must be the IRS. Oh Boy!
Indeed. I for one look forward to Trump cutting off all federal money for sanctuary cities.
I think it will take about 3 seconds for the staunchest, most liberal city council to cave in.
There only other option will be to have massive tax increases AND a decrease in services.
History validates the fact that anarchy thrives in a leftist, socialistic society.

if IA’s did not live in our cities they could meet budget demands without Fed assistance. Plyler v. Doe really put the coffin nail to taxpayers platforming this entire unjust system.
For those of us who remember the Reagan years, that was one thing that stood out. The left survives on public grants, tax-exempt "charities" that are short on charity, and no-show patronage jobs. Take those away, they have to work like the rest of us who are supporting them, and they become either conservative or homeless.
Defund the Left! What's the downside?

The new Administration should turn off all the spigots financing Political charities, even when they have Republican names as a front, such as IRI.
