...Wood, author of Snap: Making the Most of First Impressions, Body Language, and Charisma, added: 'Obama was extremely fatigued, resigned and not hopeful but very presidential.

'Trump was serious and showed indications he heard information that made him fearful.'

Trump and the first lady in waiting, Melania arrived at the White House on Thursday morning through a back entrance that opens up to the White House's South Lawn.

The private drive is inaccessible to media, and reporters were disallowed from covering the historic greeting between the incoming and outgoing first families....

I am 100% sure that being in the WH would not stun Trump. He probably has been there before, very likely. Plus he’s used to hobnobbing with world leaders.

Not only do I doubt it, I’m sure it’s not accurate. If anyone had any dirt on Trump, they would have found it and exposed it by now. They couldn’t find anything so they had to make up lies.

In every book on Body Language I have ever read they say steepling of hands denotes confidence....

Probably. But I knew the people covering for Obama are crooks and it STILL took me by surprise when they poisoned my daughter and husband.

It’s one thing to know something abstractly and another thing to have it shoved right in your face.

A couple of thoughts:

1) Trump’s hands are in the steepled position (Finger Tips together). This is a sign of self confidence, and self-assuredness, and not what this ding-bat “body language expert” is trying to imply.

2) Trump’s hand during the hand-shake is on the top; the typical placement of one who holds the dominant position.

This is nothing more than spin from this so called expert. Trump looked natural as the alpha male; jug ears should’ve worn his mom jeans to this meeting.

Body language BS. Trump’s hands aren’t in an upside down prayer. They are in a rightside up Axe of Thor position, saying I’m gonna chop your flimsy sh!t down! Meantime Jugears’ hands are all twisted together in fearful uncertainty. As for the “man spread,” that is how newly made eunuchs hold their legs to relieve the pain. And so on with every single unscientific body language BS point she makes.

It was cold anger.

He looked like a strong president-elect who loves his country and who’s determined to be civil when meeting the man who’s done more to harm that country than any other president.

I think he learned of something horrible

Yes, he learned that Mitch McConnell is the first wave of a turtle-headed invasion force of space aliens.

“ONe theory was that Obama told Trump that the protesting would continue unless he let Obama and Clinton skate.”

Doubt it. They despise each other and never met before on a personal level. They were uncomfortable and nervous.

Obama looked liked he was begging for mercy from Trump.

Probably the only thing she has right is the man spread concept. But that is Trump’s responsibility, and it is crudeness on Obama’s part.

Trump has, over a long career, dealt with the best and brightest. I am sure that when he got alone with Obama for the first time for 90 minutes, he was probably rattled a bit with what he saw. That was the new information he had just learned — and this man has been president for two terms.

Good grief if Obama had anything on Trump he would have babbled it for months now! He would have used it to prevent a Trump win!

If so then Trump should have said he would instruct the justice department to insure a level playing field. Ie federal probes of all activist organizations with charges to be leveled as appropriate with noplea deals.

Funny, my take on it was that Trump was angry or very disgusted but being polite, Obama was nervous and scared. Stuttering. I saw the one picture of Melania and Michelle and thought Melania was being polite, hands folded together so she didn’t slap Michelle silly and Michelle was crowing about herself.

I’m not a body language expert at all by the way.

I think very, very little makes Trump nervous.

I think Trump has a lot of inside info, as much as anyone, at this point.
