"Are these my fellow Americans? I knew the libs would be upset, but I never dreamed it would be as bad as this. Half the country HATES us with a bitter, burning hate. Half the country would happily undo the election and impose their will on us and wouldn’t feel the least bit guilty doing so. Half the country thinks they are superior to us, that they know best, that we must submit to them. If Trump got assassinated tomorrow, these people would be cheering and celebrating. They are vile.

Welcome to understanding the current reality (which dates back at least fifty years). Are they your fellow Americans?? Only in the sense that they occupy the same area of dirt. In all else, they are the declared enemies of all that USA was and is.

The media is going to be fighting Trump tooth-and-nail.

The “silent majority” who support Trump will not have the luxury of being silent, if they want Trump to be an effective President.

Relieved that I can finally turn on my TV and radio again without being assaulted by those stupid ads.

Tried to watch World Series game seven. Every half-inning was filled with Katie McGinty and Pat Toomey bludgeoning each other for 2 1/2 minutes.

We could put them in the sea. That would be ok with me. Up a tree then from a rope, that would fix their okey-doke.

Anecdote of yesterday’s tech support call to Dell(testament to my mood):

Me: “Hi John”
Agent (John_Hogdon): “Hello Simon”
Agent (John_Hogdon): “I see that we are working on (Dell service tag here) which is a Latitude E7450, with a dead battery? Can you confirm?”
Simon: “yessir!”
Me: “And I need to Make America Great Again. Can’t do that with a dead battery”
Agent (John_Hogdon): “Can’t do much of anything with a dead battery. Not even solitaire”
Agent (John_Hogdon): “Well, not on the computer any ways”
Me: “Indeed”
Agent (John_Hogdon): “And Solitaire isn’t really my game anyway. Not dorky enough, and the whole solo thing...”
Me: “It just sits here,,, mocking me”
Agent (John_Hogdon): “Your system should run on AC power even if the battery is dead”
Me: “Aye, the proton thrusters still function”
Agent (John_Hogdon): “I have found two flaws in the plan (name). First, you didn’t say Simon says. Second, I’m not seeing an extended warranty on the battery. Default warranty is only a year and your system is close to 2 years old than 1. I’m looking into this though”
Agent (John_Hogdon): “I see ProSupport 7x24 and Next Business Day Onsite, both for three years. I do not see an extended warranty for the battery”
Me: “Hmmm... Not sure how I’m going to Build The Wall or Lock Her Up without one...”
Agent (John_Hogdon): “Isn’t Mexico going to pay for it?”
Me: “C”
Agent (John_Hogdon): “For the billions of dollars the wall is going to cost, I’m sure you can squeeze a few more pesos for a battery”
Me: “Peso much to begin with”
Agent (John_Hogdon): “That was very punny”
Agent (John_Hogdon): “This leaves us in a very awkward situation. Because there is no extended warranty, I can’t replace your battery. And the Canadian immigration site crashed.”
Me: “Oh. Awkward to say the least. This is Yuge! Major League. How much for a new Canadian?”
Agent (John_Hogdon): “No idea for Canadian. I’m clueless as to the currency exchange rate.”
Me: “Putin a box and send it to me”
Agent (John_Hogdon): “You can contact the sales department of Dell, and they can price a battery, and then you can proceed to step two. Try and take over the world.”
Me: “I choose Option 2. Thank you for your vote. —Don”
Agent (John_Hogdon): “I voted for Pedro”
Me: “:)”
Agent (John_Hogdon): “Knowing I can’t replace the battery without the extended warranty, and I’m already the minion of the evilest overlord I know (my wife), is there anything else I can do for you today (name)?”
Me: “Can she fix my wikileaks?”
Agent (John_Hogdon): “She can computer about as far as facebook. T hats why she needs minions”
Me: “lol. Fair enough then. Been fun. Hope you smiled”
Agent (John_Hogdon): “You didn’t say Simon says smile. I was grumpy cat the entire time”
Agent (John_Hogdon): “Contact Dell Sales for a battery, and may the odds be ever in your favor”
Me: “ty”

Better, but keep your guard up. Many Republicans and most Democrats, in my opinion, do not want Trump to succeed.

They are greedy and love the power, perks and pleasure.

Trump desires to improve America and make it a decent place to live, work and play.

May God be with him.

A couple of random thoughts...

When I contemplate how close she came I get cold shivers.
When I see how much her supporters drank the koolaid I shake my head in disgust.
When I witness the poor sports torching my community I get angry.
When I think of how much work needs to be done - and how much damage needs to be undone - I get apprehensive.

Right now we’re in the eye of the storm. It’s relatively calm because the fight for dominance has concluded but it will be two months before DT can physically take the reins. When he does all hell is gonna break loose.

I’m on pins and needles - I can’t wait!

You pretend to know a man’s heart and believe it’s all demonstrated by religiosity. And just who are you?

Who appointed you as judge of Donald J. Trump or anyone else?

Your condescending attitude stinks. Ted, is that you?

Personally, being in Canada, I feel that I’m on the wrong side of the border, although I would have to cross the border and a mountain range to get to freedom, or places where freedom is valued.

However, if I were an American living in a region of general Trump support, I would feel relieved to know that in the inevitable cultural civil war to follow, I was in a good place and that my government was on my side even if powerful forces in society were not.

Hillary Clinton would have sought to extend the culture of the modern university with its directed groupthink and lack of real free speech to the entire society, building on the trend that Obama started but with more expertise and passion as a more committed ideologue. It would have been a very rough ride, as the globalists continued to plunder the national treasury. Just avoiding that nightmare should make everyone feel a giant sense of thanks and relief.

Reagan had a rough start also, almost got killed, but had that decisive win against the air traffic controllers’ union and went on to a celebrated presidency. There are also parallels to Richard Nixon here. Nixon was a relatively good and effective president before the Watergate situation, but I’ve always felt that Watergate was probably a case of “Republican good, Democrat good” politics as usual. If Nixon had not had the Watergate episode his presidency might also be recalled with general favor. And his choice for VP was probably another thing that Trump has beaten by a mile.

I suspect that more is about to happen in the world than just this election. If God were about to act, He would probably wait for Americans to choose the right way, because I can’t conceive of a last judgement where God has to punish this one nation that has endured so much in a spirit of obedience, at least on the larger historical scale. The snowflakes may not be so fortunate.

A mixture of elation and anxiety. Elation because there’s hope now American sovereignty and prosperity can be saved; and anxiety that some idiot Leftist will try to do a Squeaky Fromme number with a gun. For the youngsters among us, Fromme was the Manson follower who tried to assassinate President Gerald Ford. The Left has simply become unhinged over Trump’s win.

You are right, but many of them are going to be gone. It occurs to me that Trump may not want to address the problem of Congress immediately. He will have his hands full turning the administration around for a while. Since Bush never cleaned house we have a whole generation of leftist filth to purge, one way or another.

We might as well get used to the protests. They’ll be protesting a LOT over the things we’re going to do. But by then the consent decrees will be lifted and the police will be able to respond with proper rules of engagement.

What I feel most is the elation of relief. This country dodged an artillery-shell-sized bullet in denying access to the bribery motherlode to a group who would have mined it and to hell with the country. It halted the progress of murderous incompetence in foreign policy, globalist scheming to force change through demography, and political correctness whose intention was to kill off free speech. It told the Social Justice Warriors that if it's a war they want, it's a war they're going to get - many of these are seeing pushback for the very first time and they don't like it at all.

It sounds trite, but we have had bad government for eight long years, government conducted with aims other than the welfare of the citizens it's supposed to represent, not reform. We have had bad media, working in the interest of self-aggrandizement rather than informing the customer. We have had bad education, forcing ignorance and hatred in the place of knowledge and enlightenment. We have had, in short, people in charge of various aspects of country and culture who hate both.

I am not yet persuaded that we need to come together and heal. The level of pure malevolence on the part of the Left is not something that is going to be reasoned away. Wars don't stop when one side decides it wants peace and the other interprets it as weakness. I may see it differently in six months or a year, but I sort of doubt it now.
