Hillary Is Down, But Not The Oligarchs (Yet)
ZeroHedge.com ^ | November 11, 2016 | Paul Craig Roberts

The US presidential election is historic, because the American people were able to defeat the oligarchs. Hillary Clinton, an agent for the Oligarchy, was defeated despite the vicious media campaign against Donald Trump. This shows that the media and the political establishments of the political parties no longer have credibility with the American people.

It remains to be seen whether Trump can select and appoint a government that will serve him and his goals to restore American jobs and to establish friendly and respectful relations with Russia, China, Syria, and Iran.

It also remains to be seen how the Oligarchy will respond to Trump’s victory. Wall Street and the Federal Reserve can cause an economic crisis in order to put Trump on the defensive, and they can use the crisis to force Trump to appoint one of their own as Secretary of the Treasury. Rogue agents in the CIA and Pentagon can cause a false flag attack that would disrupt friendly relations with Russia. Trump could make a mistake and retain neoconservatives in his government.

With Trump there is at least hope. Unless Trump is obstructed by bad judgment in his appointments and by obstacles put in his way, we should expect an end to Washington’s orchestrated conflict with Russia, the removal of the US missiles on Russia’s border with Poland and Romania, the end of the conflict in Ukraine, and the end of Washington’s effort to overthrow the Syrian government. However, achievements such as these imply the defeat of the US Oligarchy. Although Trump defeated Hillary, the Oligarchy still exists and is still powerful.

Trump said that he no longer sees the point of NATO 25 years after the Soviet collapse. If he sticks to his view, it means a big political change in Washington’s EU vassals.

A snippet from the article:

I did not think the Oligarchy would allow Trump to win. However, it seems that the oligarchs were deceived by their own media propaganda. Assured that Hillary was the sure winner, they were unprepared to put into effect plans to steal the election.

Maybe so, but it will be refreshing to have no Bushes, Clintons, Obamas, Kerrys, or Bidens in public office. OK except for George P. Bush who is the Texas Commissioner of Sagebrush or something, and he is a Trump supporter.

Yes it will. Now if we can get rid of Ryan and McConnell and get some conservative leadership in the House and Senate.

I wouldn’t put it past the GOPe to, as we speak, be conspiring with the RATs to do as much damage to this Renaissance as they possibly can. The Bushes and Clintons are cut from the same cloth.

I recall that Muhammed Ali, late in his career, would reach down in the rankings to select his next opponent. With the connivance of the WBA-WBC, who would sanction the bout, the Champ would get an easy pay-day. That worked until Ali selected a former sparring partner — Larry Holmes — and got pummeled as a result. Hillary wanted Trump as her opponent t as much as Trump needed Hillary. Only the oligarchs got ‘upset’.

I find her insulting no matter what.

Obviously the media stil does not get it nor cares what the American People have decided.

I hate them.

Blah, Blah, historical election where a liar was not given free license to destroy my country?

The Clintons and the Bushes should go on a nice long trip to Saudi Arabia, and stay there.

We’ll have to see if they co-opt Trump’s administration or not. If you see a bunch of Citibank/Goldman guys showing up in high positions, you’ll know we’ve been sold out (again).

Time to leave Europe. Close ALL bases there and bring Americans home. Europe is turning into a moose slime cesspool, by design of the globalist oligarchs. Let them deal with Putin without US aid.

Blah, Blah, historical election where a liar was not given free license to destroy my country?

Where an ordinary citizen, not a politician, won a mandate to do the work of the people. And the political class lost.

The GOPe and the Democrats of Pelosi and Schumer can join forces to stop Trump’s populist agenda. While we celebrate Trump’s miraculous victory, do not forget for a minute that the elites/oligarchs will not surrender their power and privilege gladly.

From the comments:

“The fact that Trump considered Jamie Dimon for Treasury Secretary and now will “settle” with a Goldman Sachs stooge...”

Color me ignorant; does anyone know if there is any truth to this? I’ve never heard of this guy Dimon.

They didn’t miss a trick in the book.

They put everything including the kitchen sink into this effort.

It just amazes me that so many states went for Trump, yet many of those same states continued to put in their RINO Congressmen. Those RINOs are going to bite us in the next four years. Trash like Mitch McConnell, for example.

I commented on that as well. While, I have no experience with banking, I can’t believe that every.single.banker is a stooge.

At this point I don’t want to start down the path of starting to doubt Trump - as I’m sure the HRC phys-ops team is working to undermine Trumps plans. I’d be happy to get some knowledgeable input on this topic...
